Ridge Track
I recently attempted to climb Mt Barney via the south east ridge with some mates. We were stopped part way due to injury but even if we had continued I'm not 100% sure we were going the right way! Any chance you have a photo of the departure from the south ridge track? You commented that you saw a tree engraved SE ... where abouts was this tree? These are a great set of photos, and those of the sea of clouds are the type that inspired me to climb it in the first place (It looks like a great view!)

One of my collegues said she'd been to that same place just last year and it brought back all the good memories... she's also quite impressed with your photography skills. - me
