Hi from Rhona Hi Rachel I loved your entry on the cookery school day. I'd absolutely love to do that. FYI I love a bit of curry for breakfast, when I was in the UAE my brekkies consisted entirely of the stuff, usually accompanied by a bowl of dhal. xx
Thanks for blog. Hi Rachel. Wow...that was a long trip. Your meal with wine sounds great value. Thanks for photos. I have seen Evita, if nothing else! Enjoy!
Watch out for the ice!!! Great blog...Sounds like you're having a ball...do watch out for the ice though...if it's not made from bottled water it can give you a nasty tummy upset...I know from bitter experience. Stay safe and keep posting. Jx
Ice? Oops! Did not think to ask, but until today I haven’t had anything much outside the hotel. Fingers crossed that the mango lassi I had was ok, I didn’t notice until too late that the bottom of the glass had mouldy bits on the outside....?x
Food looks good Hi there. You are having quite an experience already, one way and another, including your encounter with kitty! Food looks great, and the pool. Hopefully you will be have some opportunities for more restful sleep though. Thanks for the blog and photos, and happy travels to you both xx
What great pics Hi Rachel. Hey, am able to leave a comment again. Looks so green and lush out there - and real monkeys too. Glad u enjoying yourselves there. Xx
Thank you Hi Rachel. Thank u so much for all the blogs. So they do Valentine's big time there by the looks if it, mainly for the tourists I guess. Sounds very intrepid, with your crabbing/canoeing etc. Guess you didn't snorkel yourselves? Liked the pink mosquito net! Looks lovely out there on those island, though everyone is after your money. Tough time for me at the moment, with the family situation. Always good to hear of your adventures and see the photos. Really lifts the spirits. Off to London Friday, and that will too. Thanks again, and enjoy...Love and thoughts. Xx
Wow....some sun! Hi Rachel. Finally able to submit a comment but only on this one. Looks great though very hot. More people than I thought... You will be so tanned, you are already. Good to keep in touch with your adventures - thank you. Xx
What a relief! Thank goodness u were re-united with your luggage Gill, and glad u are safely there. Yes, would have been good to see inside of the Heli! Looks loads to see and do there, and great u can do it together. Enjoy. Love from us both xx
No Luggage - I've been there! I know the stress of landing in Saigon without my luggage! I was there in November 2010 and my luggage didn't make the connection in KL. Luckily for me it arrived that night! Silly me forgot to pack extra clothes in my carry-on like I usually do.
Yes, another time that would be good! I was amazed it came to the hotel though. At the very least I thought we'd have to make loads of ridiculous phone calls and end up going to the airport personally to collect it! Happy travels.
Jealous! Thanks for keeping us so well informed, Rach. I'm missing travelling so much, but now I won't need to do Vietnam and Laos!
Will be good to meet up sometime when you're back and have time.
Snowdrops are pushing up here! Spring is on the way!
Keep up the blog. Loving it. Take care, big hugs, Wxx
Lovely to follow your travels Have just found how to leave a comment. Have been following your blog, and you could write a book. Fascinating stuff, thank u. We are in London this weekend. Went to Fan Museum in Greenwich yesterday. Great. Love us xx
im not jealous Hi Rachel,
Really enjoying your travel blogs. Each evening with a cuppa in hand, I fire up my tablet and become in thawed with your adventures. The different cultures, scenery, blue skies and tasty dishes almost makes me forget the constant heavy down pours and winter chills. When will you both be back on UK soil?
Keep up the blogs in between soaking up the rays and looking forward to photo's and popcorn night
Happy memorable travels
Gill
Raining right now! Hi Gill
Very flattered you are reading them! It is rainy season in Bali right now, so we are having our fair share of downpours, but it is hot so we can still enjoy being outside. Much more spiritual here than Cambodia, and a real feast for the eyes, although you have to get used to rubbish lying everywhere. Many more photos than I've put on the blogs, as it takes ages to load them and my notebook is driving me nuts, or it's the slow internet here. Am sure I can do better than popcorn. Back on the 8th and back to work on the 10th, probably, although I wouldn't say a week to recover from jetlag!
See you soon
Rachel

Excited to travel again, now that Covid restrictions have mainly been lifted. SE Asia is always my first choice. Nowhere is boring! There are always people to meet and new places to explore. And books to read.....
