| 22nd December 2005 Rosa Maria Dias | Missing Alvei - From: All About ALVEI I met Alvei in V.N.Gaia, when still being repaired, as a portuguese local who fell in love with both the project and the people in it. I met Alvei with no sales and waved her fairwell when she sailed the Foz of the Douro river, on her way to Madeira. Some of the nicest people I ever met were in it. For any of them who may read this, I miss Alvei and miss you all! Evan, I don't mail much but keep an eye on how it's going :-) To all you "new" that met Alvei after and get to share this photos and news with us "old" that were left behind, thank you for doing so! I still hope and believe I'll see Alvei back at V.N.Gaia quay someday, even if just for a visit! :-) Merry Christmas to all of you! Rosa Maria |

| 8th December 2004 anonymous | Kangaroos - From: Kanga'ruse' I thought exactly the same as you. Was in Oz in '97/'98 and only saw 1 live kangaroo and that was in a zoo. The rest were all 'roadkills'. But have just been back for another visit and had to drive to the Flinders from dusk until dark. OH MY GOD - how many kangaroos? They were bl**dy everywhere and all of them on a suicide mission. At first I was in awe but after an hour of very stressful driving I wanted them all to go back into hiding. So if you want to see Kangaroos then go to the Flinders and do the dusk drive!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 1st November 2004 anonymous | Rock Monolith - From: My REAL Birthday Hey Rach!! That IS a spectacular band name!! If your band was named that, you'd have to mix all your sessions down to monaural, though. As opposed to ROCK STEREOLITH. ~Myke |
