Dearest friends and associates, Wow, I survived the crazy trip around Mexico. I am in Guadalajara and have been taking my TEFL certification course here. The course is insane! It is so much work and I barely get to rest. I have already had a few job offers. I have been offered a job making ten dollars an hour, but it is in the middle of nowhere. Hola, Well I am alive and well. No sickness, great food and adventure. Our van has been searched 9 times by military guys! We are in Oaxaca(WAH-HA-CA) and came in a few days ago from Mazunte a beach on the Pacific. So, we have swum in the Gulf, the Carribean, and now the Pacific. Not bad for one month. On our way into town, Oaxaca, we hit a huge speed bumb going about 30 mph and almost ruined my van, my bike was dangling off the bike rack and 100 meters later was a military checkpoint. well everyday is nuts here. I think since I last wrote we were at isla mujeres, well since then we stayed four days in a cabaña with not electricity and only one sand-dune from the caribean. it was heaven as usual, we have gone snorkeling twice, and even saw a huge manta-ray. our cabaña was great except for the mosquitoes living in our nosquito net. I killed them all. Anna as usual invited two cats into our cabaña, one was pregnant. What´s up? Well here I am on Isla Mujeres on the Caribbean. We have been here for 3 days and today we are going to Tulum. Well Mexico has been crazy as usual. Driving here is pinche loco. I ran a red light in Villahermosa and got bribed by the cop into giving him a hundred freakin´ dollars. The van has been search by the military 3 times. Rob's Travel RouteHey Everyone.....It's a really boring day at the motel, but soon I won't have to be here. I like the motel, but working with and collecting money from poor people with all their problems can really weigh on a person's conscience.
