| 26th July 2009 RTW adventure 09 to 13 | Mona Lisa - From: Ticking The Boxes Hey Mum, It wasn't that there was no one around the painting, I just used my elbows a little and then held the camera above everyone else's head. They did have a barrier about 10 ft from the painting that helped too so no one could get close and block the shot. |
| 25th July 2009 Elaine | MONA LISA - From: Ticking The Boxes Hi Mark, You actually got to see the Mona Lisa. I say this because when I was there you couldn't get within 10ft of the painting. I could just see the top of the frame and said that was that! And just look at your picture, not a sole around. Perhaps if I ever get to go to Paris again I might spend a lot more time looking over the Louvre, and other places. |

| 5th April 2009 RTW adventure 09 to 13 | Definately Go Sentosa!! - From: Monkeys & Mojitos.... A Day In The Life Of Sentosa Island Hey Mel, Sentosa is definitely worth a look!! Between the beaches, the rides and the jungle/rainforest, as well as the Fort it's a full day and into the night for the "Songs Of The Sea" show. Haven't managed to see the places you mentioned though and we're off to Phuket tomorrow sorry. You will have to let me know what they're like. Speak soon. |
