That little Mountain Plover looks pretty cute, but how do you ever find those nests? I could not find the Plover in the one picture. Hope the job is going much more smoothly and that your next three weeks will go quickly. Love, Grandma |

We are so happy for you as we realize this is what your were hoping for. Your Dad called last night and he was so excited about your good news too. Sounds like a great deal and should keep you very busy for a few years! That was a scary story about getting lost in the forest. Glad you have a good strong voice and could get someone's attention to rescue you. We really didn't want to travel to Ecuador to find you in that deep dark forest, but we would have tried! We look forward to seeing some more pictures from Ecuador. Let us know when you are back in the "good Ole US of A". Love, Grandma & Grandpa |

| 12th February 2006 Adrian | Tomate - From: Buen noticias, Tomate, y un gato salvaje Congratulations on Colorado, Becca! Any chance of lobbying for a larger cage for Tomate? Ze looks a bit cramped in there.* And I'm glad to hear that you're attracting potentailly dangerous animals to your living area with delcious baked goods. Espero que vas a encontrar muchas aves bonitas y interesantes mientras vives en el bosque . . . creo esos van a ser meses importantes en su vida. (Don't make fun! I haven't had a class in five years!) Keep sending pictures! * Neutral pronoun used in the interest of not imposing human gender norms on the cuddly woodland creature.** ** Kidding, of course. |

Keep up the blog this is great fun. |
