Water We bought a lot for the drive through Death Valley which we didn't use up but didn't want to throw it away so proceeded to lug it around for thr rest of the trip!
How bazaar! Glad you are having a good time and have managed to blog. Did you eat any Turkish delight? I loved the spice bazaar and all that nice looking and smelling food. You should try the apple tea if you have not done so already.
Oh no! My sincerest sympathies for the loss of Shashi's hair straighteners! You must be going thru hell! ;-) Keep having fun, just about to get a plane to Bangkok, but I have lots to tell you, so will email tomorrow!

Lovely :-) Sounds fab, glad you got to Whitehaven beach. Don't remember any lycra people when we were there, maybe coz different time of year. Beach was just totally empty. Yeah the snorkelling is great isn't it. We're about to go at Koh Phi Phi where has always been beautiful and full of amazing fish before. Just at airport waiting for our flight now! Speak soon, Jen xxx
Yay! So glad you had such a good time :-) Lake Mackensie still looks as beautiful as I remember it! That's one of my all-time fave pictures of myself at that lake! Keep enjoying yourselves :-)

Cool! I went there! Glad you had fun. Very impressed with your surfing too! I never tried it, got put off by the big waves at Byron Bay like you said you almost did, but sure I wouldn't have been able to stand up that quickly! I think you did really well! Jen xxx
'Big' Hello from Italy! Australia (and NZ) looks great. I believe the 'big things' were created as a distraction for motorists who would often drive for hours or even days across the same kind of landscape and sometimes fall asleep because of it. What other big things have you found?
Great photos!
Happy Birthday!! Hey babes, hope you had a very Happy Birthday and did somethingvery exciting!!! Am very jelous of your blogs and pictures - hope you are having a fab time. See you in May - Love you lots - Claire xxx
Pics Hey,
thanks for the tip on the pics. Cool to see them. You have all the same pics as me now! :-) Keep having fun. Are you going to go to Fraser Island? Interested to know what you think of Surfers - as you know I wasn't a fan, but maybe you'll love it!
Take care and have a fab time,
Jen xx
Yay! So cool to hear about Sydney and you doing all those things I love so much! Glad you're enjoying it :-) Funny, 29 degrees sounds quite cool to me, after being used to temperatures in the 30s out here. In fact, it's forecast to get to 39 degrees most of this week! - check out Mae Sot on the BBC weather website for something that will make you feel cool :-) Enjoy, enjoy! So glad you did the Bondi-Coogee walk and had fish and chips at Manly and staying at the Sydney Central... :-) I'd forgotten about all those fab swimwear shops too! Keep having a fab time, Jen xxx
re-read Ah, read this properly now! Glad to hear no sheep got harmed with the shearing, remember some leaving bleeding when the Oz experience bus stopped at a sheep station in New South Wales! Was nasty :-(
Funny seeing you write 'sweet' all the time! You sound like a real New Zealander!

Don't skim read! I just started to try and skim read this post coz time in internet cafe running out and for a second I thought it said "I gave a lamb half a capuccino"! Think I'll come back and read this properly tomorrow when I have more time!
How long did it take? How long did it take to complete the maze? Tim insisted on rushing around so we could go for a record time! Even photo taking was considered to be time wasting.
Did you like the room that was at a funny angle?
I love visiting different countries - seeing amazing sights, getting to do new, exciting things every day, learning about other cultures and sampling the local food. I have been lucky enough to travel to quite a few countries, as shown on the map below, but there is so much more to see. My "to visit" list is long and always growing! Hopefully many more countries on my map will go red soon!
