Thx for the blog: as usual, very interesting. We are planning a holiday out your way next summer. Looking fwd to seeing you and view some more photos. Maybe even listen to some 'salsa' music, dancing to it might be a problem. Cheers.

Home.
Poor little Edu and his head! Love having you home, but am sad that your time in Peru had to come to an end. Love, Shauna

Good memories
It seems like a lifetime ago already! Yes, I did go eat and didn't bring you back food. LOL. I would have added that I saw a bit of Cusco while you were sleeping but that wouldn't be the case considering that I could hardly walk more than 20m without feeling the effects of altitude sickness. Give me a shout. I need to pick up some stuff from you and exchange photos!

Poor Nancy!
Hi Robyn, I was completely with you on food choices until I read that ceviche was RAW fish. Ugh. Are you sure a blended frog isn't better? Is the frog juice at least cooked frog? "I promptly ditched Nancy"... poor Nancy!! Just because she didn't feed you... LOL Beautiful pictures, and incredible memories. You didn't smuggle a baby back in your suitcase did you? Talk to you soon, Janet

correction
Great blog! I'm so proud of you for writing, not like you at all! I'm still going to give you that card I was telling you about, don't think a blog or two will change that ;) I noticed your blog isn't entirely correct: you don't dance like a robot...you dance like Elaine from Seinfeld. xoxoxoxoxo

Glad to hear about your dance learning curve Robin. Now all you have to do is learn how to sing in Spanish and you can entertain whilst giving Spanish lessons. I, same as your Dad, remember bits of Spanish, especially after some wine, but always remember the salsa music. Never did learn how to dance.

Want to eat cuy
Yes, I've been readinga bout cuy and want to try. I'll be expecting you to take me there when I get down there. Are you still planning Cuzco and Machu Pichu with me? Can't wait to explore Peru. Sounds like you are having a life changing experience there! Really ... back to teaching in boring Alberta?!?

Ewwww.
That's gross, you didn't mention on the phone that they ate rodent before they got violently ill! Didn't you say it was the vegetables? I think it may be wise to stay away from the rodents and keep to the potatoes. Have you learned all about how many kinds of potatoes Peru has and all the millions of ways they can prepare it? Who knew?! Anyway, great blogging once again!! Lots of love, shauna

Salsa!!!
I can't believe you are salsa dancing!! Sounds like so much fun and a great workout!!! I was just transported into your world while reading your blog... I certainly enjoyed it! Now back to the reality of finishing my report cards which go home tomorrow, my last day of school and my shoulder surgery the next day. Sigh. I'm coming to see you instead!!! :) Unfortunately Jay DID read my last blog and I got a tsk tsk for even suggesting you bring us home 2 babies to adopt so we'd better lower it to one baby. Fisher actually asked me (totally unrelated) if I am too old to have babies anymore. I said no but that we weren't having anymore. The next day he asked me if we could adopt, a boy please. I guess he's noticed he's the only brother among 3 sisters. :) So, that's our order - one little brother please. We love you and miss you, always!!! Keep having fun, dancing and loving life. Such wonderful stories you will have to tell - our kids can hardly wait to see your pictures and hear about your adventures!!!! Love, Dana (and Jay, McKenna, Fisher, Piper, Pope, and ???) XXoooo

Snow Storm
Oh, I forgot to mention, it snowed about 6 inches on Saturday in Red Deer and later in Edmonton. Calgary got snow even earlier. The lilac blossoms hung down due to a large snow load. Something to think about as you handle sweaty babies!

Interesting blog!
Oh, I am jealous about the salsa lessons! I'm sure you're wonderful! I just can't picture you as an erupting volcano of rage! Though Sonja does sound like she needs a smack. Maybe you could show her the view that Jorge nearly saw from the second story window. ;) The cuy sounds utterly revolting. Glad you didn't get sick.

You are an excellent writer! I am very interested in what you have written, and entertained as well. Pretty, cool, comfy-looking room and bathroom! Cute kids, though Milagro looked peed-off. Don't blame her... is that a tie on the swaddling blanket? You look happy and healthy in your picture!

Ha ha!!
Hi Robyn, I loved your story about the boys leaning out the window! Still laughing. We won't tell Lilia. Oh dear. I thought I'd had pañales at a restaurant. Hmm. Disturbing. Poor little wretches, sweating away in too many clothes. And poor Jorge, can't even play with his really cool new toy, the plastic bag!

Hi Robyn! I am just starting to go back through your posts to catch up. Things got busy on me, and I've missed reading a few. Yikes. Take care jumping off cliffs... my cousin is now a quadraplegic from doing that in Italy. I've always thought that children should be kept naked and hosed off at regular intervals. Ironing diapers? I just don't understand why. You fold it and cover it up! LOL I'm sure you won't disappoint Lilia. Have a safe time, Janet

Amazing
Hey Robyn, your blog is so entertaining. Although I thought when a person takes a year off they may choose some relaxation. Hilarious how you are now starting to skip meals. Call it an intro to parenthood. At least you haven't learned that after skipping meals you also give up hot meals! Don't worry about the odd open window, plastic bag or scissors... there is always something the little ones find! I wonder if the reason they put so much clothes on the babies is to climatize them? Yesterday my question of the day was, "How do you tell if an egg is going to be an egg or a chicken". Cheers! Shelagh

Robyn; Brigitte and I so enjoy your blog. You are starting to sound as if you had a degree in journalism the flow is so smooth and enjoyable. Congratulations on the photos. The pic of you holding the one child looks very becoming. Continued progress in your Spanish lessons, as well as, enjoying yourself so much is our wish. Cheers!

Soooo sweet! I'm proud of you for taking pictures and publishing them!! Good writing too, I think you're giving Scott a run for his money. Love you and am happy for you that you're staying longer (but a little sad for me). I think I may have to go and get my pedicure before you get home though.

positive reinforcement : )
Hey Robyn. You look so happy there with the babies, was that before or after your 2 hour solo?? 7 babies would make even a seasoned mother nervous, sounds like you did a great job!! Well done. Hope you get a good night's sleep with no loud neighbours : ) Kathy

how many can you bring home to me??
Seriously, if I could convince Jay...... maybe 2 so we can keep our kids total even??? Oh, they are so sweet!! You can definately celebrate and relax on Mother's Day after having 7 babies for 2 hours!!! Like an eternity! :) We love you and miss you as always. By the way, Shauna came over on Saturday and we all had a little supper with mom and dad for an early Mother's Day celebration. We missed you. Oh, but Pope didn't miss you.... she thought you were here all along!! Poor Shauna, Pope called her "Auntie Robbie" the WHOLE day!!!! And, she was being very firm that she wanted "Auntie Robbie" to do EVERYTHING for her. Seriously, she can be so spicy sometimes. When we convinced her that it wasn't you and asked "what is her name" she shrugged and said "I don't know" and told her she wanted her help with PJs. Honestly. How do I make that up to my sister?!?!?! :) Love you, Dana XOX PS Congratulations on getting a grade 3 class, I think you'll love that age!!!! Jay wants to know if you will have any of the students you taught in grade 1??

mother's day
Oh Robyn, Joan would have been delighted to hear those kind words on Mother's Day! I have to tell you that I am quite enjoying your 'tongue-in-cheek' comments which seem to frequently accompany your newsy blogs. I am so happy that you are enjoying yourself and meeting interesting people. Do you think you could bring home one of the bundles in the photo?....wait! what am I saying! Talk to you again, marg

YEAH ... you are staying longer. I shall be there in July! I arrive in Lima on July 8th and make my way into La Paz over 3.5 weeks. Which hostel are you staying at?
