Correction
The Trevi fountain needs to be credited to Nicola Salvi (1751). I am unable to edit this blog but please do note the change

Dursley
Glad you found Dursley but your picture is sadly not of Dursley. I also think the hotel you refer to is the Downfield Hotel run by Nigel Messenger who I am sure will be glad of the mention Peter Dursley Chamber of Trade

Gracie
Hi there.. I'm not sure if i've spelt the Italian word for Thank you right, but your blog was great reading and packed with lots of useful information in a breezy style! Have added your blog to my favourites. We had a lovely time at Rome, though Trevi is closed in winter, the views were great. One place I would recommend for your next visit is the Catacombs. Until later, Ciao.

pissing statues
In 1984, in respect of the principle of equality between men and women, they made a Gannekin-Pis - a pissing little girl! She's hard to find - down an alley off the alley with all the seafood restaurants off the Grande Place - but worth it when you get there. Equally small, but much cuter than the Mannekin.

Retail Therapy
Funny piece - I especially liked the part about The Body Shop. My fav Body shop product is the Hemp chapstick. For handbags, I recommend Fendi or even Dior. Now for the criticism part. I wasn't sure what you were writing about in the begining. Sure, its your shopping experience in London (or lack therof). But where did you go? Which shopping district is more intimidating to the compulsive shopper than Takashimaya? Why did we cut from 12:30 pm on Saturday to 11:00 am on Friday in Oxford street. How does the Saturday evening end. Did the husband end up buying you anything? - Critic

Learning English in England
Your blog made for a very nice read. I believe "New Pinch" is a very Indian thing. I have never heard anyone else use it. - Critic
