| 23rd August 2007 Mom | My Little Girl "the World Traveller" - From: Arriving at the Thira Airport on the Greek Islands in Santorini Yogi-ko, I still cannot believe you have been through a "whirlwind" trip of a lifetime of a few countries, and, now to your final two weeks in Greece! Enjoy! Dad and I know that you truly enjoyed all your travels, especially HFH, new "life-long" friends you met along the way and the meals you have shared with them, the sights you have seen, but, most of all the travel writings and pictures you have shared with all of us! And, of course, the special week you spent with Boyd in Barcelona, (the travelblog he wrote, shared, and pics of both of you -- we saw how much fun you two had!). We know that one of these days, when your time permits, you will probably "write" your famous book of your life and travels (instead of reading about others), and we can't wait to read yours! You and Thao have fun in Greece! Can't wait to see you soon! Stay safe, angels always around you, blessings to you, with God's love, and our love always, mom and dad |

| 31st July 2007 Dad | Florence = Firenze - From: Wine Tasting in the Hills of Florence Hi Yogi, After being stationed in Naples, Italy for a year and a half, I got a chance to see a lot of Southern Italy. But, I realize how little of Northern Italy I missed after our visit to Italy in 2001 and now after seeing all of the Italian countryside that you have visited in a few short days. You are giving Mom and I a new perspective on travelling with each and every place that you visit and all that you see and do. I especially appreciate hearing about the people that you meet, what they do, and what life is like in each little corner of the world you visit. Hope you're feeling better, Sweetheart! I'm so glad you have a great travelling companion in Alex while your in Tuscany! I Love You! Dad |
| 29th July 2007 Mom | Special Friendship To Cherish - From: Under the Tuscan Sun Hi Yogi, I had added a comment the other night when I read your journal, don't know what happened, but hopefully you get this one! Good to see you enjoying Italy, I know it is a beautiful country and I loved all of Italy when Dad and I visited and travelled in 2001! Tuscany has the hills, grapes, olive oil and corn fields! The sights are all breathtaking, food great, and wines was the best! (Hi Alex - it is good to see you again in Teri's pics and travels! I know you two will continue to have a good time!). Both of you enjoy, keep safe in your travels! Blessings and love, Mom |

| 28th July 2007 Dad | Amsterdam Then and Now - From: Van Gogh Museum & Anne Frank Huis Hi Yogi, It's over 38 years since I visited Amsterdam when I took a short vacation while I was stationed in Italy. I mostly remember the canals, bridges and of course the Red Light District. Your pictures and descriptions of the city bring back a lot of fond memories of my visit even though I wasn't as adventurous as you. Like you, I was travelling alone, but I didn't keep a journal or take a lot of pictures. So, I only have my memories to recall where I went and what I did, and it's becoming more difficult to remember with each passing year! Continue to enjoy your trip, Sweetheart, as we are enjoying visiting each place with you through your words and pictures. Take care and stay safe. Love, Dad |
| 27th July 2007 Paul Foster | Have a Great time in Tuscany - From: Under the Tuscan Sun Have a great time in Tuscany. If you have the chance, drive to Multipuciano. | 24th July 2007 John | Still in Philly - From: Enjoying the Sights of Vienna Teri, I have never been to Vienna but I stayed at an American Forces resort near the Austrian border. The resort was actually at a lake called Chiemsee in Bavaria. I went to several places in Austria, including Birchesgarten. Also, I drove through Austria from Italy to Germany. I lcan personally relate to your comment, "believe me, I don’t typically give myself 2 hours before flight time to arrive at the airport." I remember travelling with you from the Honololu Airport and I kept looking at my watch hoping you would make a flight. Of course, you did. I will be going back to Korea on Saturday. I had a great time with my family while I've been here in Philly. Looking forward to your next journal entry. |

| 15th July 2007 Mom | Thank You for My Birthday Wish "Yogi-ko" - From: The Power To Influence Another's Life Yogi, thank you so much for your phone call! I love you for your special thoughtfulness, hearing your voice, and of course being my baby girl! You truly have always amazed me in who you are and what you do in your life. You know I was pretty nervous about you traveling Europe and your choice of HFH in Hungry, but through your travelblog it "eases" me just a little bit! I am very proud of what you have done and what you will continue to do in your life. I have always told you and your sister to always "go for it" in life and be happy -- remember "life is what you make it"! Both dad and I always have given you and your sister to do the things you want to do. We are here to always support you, see you reach your dreams, to see you accomplsh your goals, and to be successful in life, but most of all to love you! Now that you have finished HFH in Hungry, you begin a new journey in life, traveling Europe (one of your many goals). Enjoy this journey of a life time, and I know you will!! Keep us posted by way of your "travelblog" and your great pics! As I always tell you keep safe, be attentive of your surroundings, and have all your special angels around you to protect you. With God's blessings, gifts, graces and most of all His love...miss you and love you, mom. P.S. I still do hope you write a "great book" about your journey in life....love, mom |

So glad it was such an amazing experience for you. I totally want to do South America with you. We can talk about it in 10 days when we meet up in Milan/Florence/Tuscany. I'm looking into renting a car before going out there. I read that it might be cheaper. Another option is to rent Vespas! Fun! But after a few vinyards it might be easier to drive a car than a Vespa. I'll keep you posted. Love you and am so proud of you! |

Live the life you have imagined." — Henry David Thoreau ...'nuff said. i started writing something to be philosophical and endearing. | 12th July 2007 Tami | - From: Rained Out Again Hi Teri -- I've enjoyed keeping up with your adventures! I hear where you're at emotionally, because I feel like I was there just over 2 yrs ago when I faced a major life-impacting choice. This was one of the verses I read and re-read...I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. (Psalm 32:8) Keep enjoying this journey! Looking forward to our next wine-tasting in Napa...we'll stay away from the cherry wine! |
| 12th July 2007 Pua lani | Pack Rat - From: Spending the Day at Lake Balaton and the Mendan Spa Alejandro! I would highly recommend that you do not do what I did. I packed way too much for my trip. I have four luggages, and I am not looking forward to lugging them around with me everywhere I go. Maybe bring something nice, just in case. Court is a cutie, you and he would've become fast friends (which might have made Ken a little jealous :-)). I am SO thankful he's been a part of this trip. |
| 11th July 2007 Alex V | Nice Dress! - From: Spending the Day at Lake Balaton and the Mendan Spa Hey Teri. Love the dress! What the heck did you pack? Does this mean I have to bring a nice wardrobe to Italy? Court looks like a cutie. Besos. |
| 10th July 2007 Pua lani | Seafood Withdrawl - From: A Day of Rest at Lake Gyekenyes I agree...I have had to eat pork, which I don't normally do at home. But I can't complain, the food has been tasty. It has just given me that much more motivation to get out there and run in the mornings! The Hungarians love their fried food! Can't wait to spend some time in Budapest. |
| 10th July 2007 Uncle Wally & Aunty Fely | Glad to hear from U. - From: A Day of Rest at Lake Gyekenyes Hi Terry, Thank you for writing to us. Our prayer is with you and your co-worker over there. What you discribe in your litter is very interisting. I remember when I was Overseas I seen alot of different culture the way people live and what they eat. I tried to visit the local and learned move about them and their language. In your photo it looks like the country is a beautiful place to visit. I always wanted to take my family with me where I went so that they can learn and experiance on how people in other countries live. Of course your cousins were still small when we went around Europe but I hope some part of their experiance was memorable. Your Auntie Fely and I are very proud of you. Keep us posted, be safe and have fun. Love and prayers, Unc. Wally and Auntie Fely |

| 5th July 2007 Peter Peabody | I remember Jenn - From: Start Spreading The News Peggy and Alli just returned from NYC this week and were worried about the pouring rain and flight cancellations. They made it home with only a slight delay (about 2 hours) i picked them up from Oakland Airport at 2:00a.m. I remember Jenn Chen. What is "Diageo" where Jenn works? While they were in NYC they saw 3 ballets and 4 musicals. I'm jealous. |
| 5th July 2007 Peter Peabody | I remember Kai - From: Goin' to See Bud in New Jersey As soon as I saw the picture of the two of you I remembered Kai. My condolences to her on her loss and it does remind me of the need to live each day to its fullest. I think it was at the Retreat House in St. Helena, where we had a new group every 3 days, that I realised that our life is full of "hellos and goodbyes". Separation continues to be part of our lives and it would be impossible to deal with if it were not true that anyone who we have let become part of our lives stays with us as we interact with others. We are today different because we have known them and who we are shares a part of them. Each day is a new opportunity for hellos and tomorrow lets us share those relationships we have nurtured through the years. |
| 5th July 2007 Peter Peabody | Getting a "feel" for the land - From: Speed Bowling in Csurgo I often take my bike out to get a feel for the area when I am in some place that I am unfamiliar with. Like walking or jogging the area becomes much more personal and I get a flavor quickly and usually meet a few people in the process. I also use the bike (rather than a car) to find new ways around and undiscovered sights that take getting off the main roads. |

| 4th July 2007 Dad | Yogi and Yoga - From: The Best Kind of Torture Hi Sweetheart! It seems that you have found something in Yoga that has given you a new and refreshing outlook on health and life. I know that you will receive as much from this new outlook as you put into the practice of Yoga itself. Since I have gained a few pounds from not exercising regularly and eating lunch every day, I'll try to get some inspiration from your dedication to Yoga and get back to exercise and improve my overall health. Love, Dad |

| 22nd June 2007 Dad | Cope & Cabana - From: VEGAS...baby!!! Yogi, After living in Las Vegas for 2 1/2 years, we've learned that to cope with Las Vegas weather, you have to stay in air conditioned buildings or cars and drink lots of water. The cabanas and free food, drinks, prizes, rooms, shows, and of course gambling keep many people returning here over and over. For us, we look forward to having you, Boo, our many family and friends visit as often as possible. Love, Dad |

I am delighted to be part of your journey and hope to continue to be. Thanks for including me in your blog group. I have found many suprising turns in my journey and, although scarry at times, each has produced some new insights and growth. |
