"tea" Great pictures. It has been a lot of fun following you on your journey. I hope you didn't spend too much time relaxing at the "tea" plantation. They sure have different names for things there.
Delhi Belly At first I was very interested, even a little aroused, when I read the words "Brad" and "Delhi Belly" close to each other. Thought it may be some sort of exotic dancer with my dear friend Fidler Jones. The excitement was short lived. Keep having a great experience.
You're an ashram One thing you can say about Indian museums: They've got some old stuff
....one "on the positive side" argument to your lament on not taking Darjeeling pics on a clear day: your pictures of the city/mountains/clouds are some of the coolest photos I have ever seen. Seriously great stuff (I'm no art critic, but I can assure you I've looked at thousands of pictures in my lifetime)....eat you heart out, Ansel Adams!
trip How neat. When I was your age I went up the Alcan Highway to Alaska and bummed for a year. Still have wonderful friends from that time. One, the
retired Chief Justice of Alaskas Supreme Court was just here for the weekend
to visit us. Have a safe journey.
Use it You will notice there is no politeness about what you are to do with a trash receptacle. It is plainly stated (everywhere) that you should "Use It."

"Manuel and I also met a local guru who gave me great insight into my own life." Really? (said very sacastically) I wish I could say something mean but it's only because I AM SOOO JEALOUS!
WOW So glad to hear Brad is better and Brian watch yourself! Your pics are amazing and I so enjoy keeping up with you on your adventure. This is a real eye opener as to how the other world lives. Continue safely and can't wair for more.
Smiling Glad to see you are still smiling Brian!
I'm enjoying the travelogue, wishing I was tagging along to experience everything. Glad you both have had the chance and yes, India Chai is the best! None of the American made stuff is even close. The same goes for watermelon, but I keep trying to find some here tha taste as good as what I had there!
Looking forward to a first-hand report when you get back.

For the record Let the record state that Mr. Jones is indeed an ambassador of Rock n' Roll--I can attest to that. Let not the elixir of his fine words render your skepticism obsolete, however, as I imagine him to sing quite a fine karaoke rendition of Billie Jean.
translation help hi brad, this is ellen, paige's aunt. for years i've been searching for the sanskrit translation for "passion." i've found these three, and was wondering if you could ask a few people on your journey what they mean, since they are all different. hope you're having a great time! love reading your blog and the photos are fantastic. safe travels! namaste.

cows Can you dedicate an entry to the amount of cows wandering the streets and title it "an udder distraction"?...this would be great.

Awesome! I really like this city. It is amazing to see all the architecture and how they live. Why didn't you ride the elephants? Keep the blogs coming. This way I know you are still there!!
Rules?! Whats rule # 5? The bathing pool seems to be perfectly sanitary. It's not like monkey feces carries any parasites, bacteria, or banana excrement. How do you suppose the monkey's keep clean? You guys seem to be having a great time...The fort Z19 is lonely, however peaceful...and drunk. Enjoy fellas!
