Italian architecture
Hi Just came across your Blog and was glad you enjoyed Krakow. It is a bit different now...gone up in price (especially on the square) As for the italian architecture....I seem to remember having a tour a few years ago and the gude mentioned something about an italian princess marring the polish prince and she brought her architects over to Krakow with her.

wow...
We were in Italy at about the same time. And Prague was overrun by Italian school kids while I was there too! x

LOL
You have met more weird characters on this trip than all of Dickens' and JK Rowling's combined . . . I hope you write a book after this! I cannot BELIEVE a homeless man touched your beard!!

Black&White
Doesn't erná ko ka, bílý kocour actually translate to Black Pussy, White Tom-cat? If you take the literal translation, that is. Which brings to mind even MORE than the usual sorts of bordering-on-racism that goes on here. :) Oh - and fyi (I never say that in real life, rest assured), it was the title of a Czech Romantic Comedy. I wonder when the protagonist died in that one.

a beach house 600 miles due south of tampa, or ... an italian country house in the heart of tuscany? hey ron, i think we have 2 votes for tuscany.

Guess what we are building in Tampa
They have decided to erect a new church in New Tampa. St. Marks will finally have a church. Any chance it could be 1/100th the size of some of the magnificant structers we saw in Rome.

WOW
Sounds like Poland was amazing! Not to sound ridiculous, but the whole train/robes poking out of coats discussion at the beginning reminded me of Harry Potter! Hahaha! Can't wait till your plane ride takes you here to NY!!
