I really enjoyed reading of your impressions in that WILD place. Im a kiwi lass and was in Nigeria for a month just a few months back, and I agree fully that..the one word to describe Lagos is..CHAOS..and lawless of course. From nigeria I went to benin and traveled for another month..a bit wild but a lot more organised. good luck with you footie movie..when i have more time I will try catch up on your contuing travel bog stories. melanie |

| 23rd May 2008 Ingrid Slater | Cambodia - From: Past, Present and Future Hayden & I spend 2 weeks in Cambodia last year building homes with a local community. The people are so beautiful - somethings get annoying but only because we don't understand much of the culture &/or reasons 'why'. The "girls" industry is a huge thing there and needs to be stopped - but I felt (& the more I get involved with an organisation that helps these girls, it is confirmed) that is it a mindet/belief stronghold. Thanks for updating the blog - it reminded me of how much I love that country. Blessings! The Slaters :) |
