Ah...the serenity
There is a cartoon of a guy with a dark cloud over his head looking glum. But he ain't a blond Canadian gal with attitude who'd like to punch ya and only drinks on T-day. Great blog Sal...great all the bad things on flights like a whirlpool are attracted to your flights...the rest of us can enjoy the in-house entertainment knowing all the bad stuff is heading Sal's way. Ah the serenity...yet I'm too restless to enjoy the feet up Playa way!

Thanks for hosting us. It was a fabulous week! Incredibly beautiful oceanfront condo in the heart of Playa del Carmen. We didn't need to leave the balcony, but of course, we did. Shopping on 5th Ave., Live music ranging from harp, mariachi bands, guitar, rock, R & B. Dining all over Playa and Tulum. We had Mexican, Thai, Italian, Steakhouse etc.... usually with margs and wine. I ate and drank so much, I will have to get back to the gym to burn it off. Thanks to Sally and Al we feel like we know our way around and even learned a little spanish. I know vino tinto (red wine), uno mas (one more), mucho gusto (nice to meet you). Just watch out for the overly friendly skeletons lol. Mucho gracious amigos! xo

I just love this one Photo especially Sally. You are blessed with moments like this among 3 generations. ! I am so envious of that: generational love. I too love the part about the plant in the balcony and your mom ...and the maid out the balcony. lol :-D The one photo of Ava "Jumping for joy" really captures the very essence of your trip. Hola Sally, I have been enjoying your updates.....where do you find all your energy to accomplish all that you do while on vacation? Lol We arrived late on Friday night and was talking to your Mom before I left and was hoping to get over yesterday to see her before she left but ran into a few hiccups on day one so didn't get an opportunity to see you guys. We are leaving playa tomorrow for a 2 week road trip with o Veracruz. Back to playa Feb. 10 until March 5 . When do you go back? Would like to check out the restaurant you are promoting, roof top bar and day spa. You didn't mention any names if these places? Looking forward to future blogs. Hopefully we can connect on this trip. Take care and enjoy!

I never read blogs..,
But I read yours almost all the time! Through years of reading your blog, I started coming to Playa del Carmen last year with friends, coming back this winter for two weeks because I loved it so much! I met some amazing people, ATV’d through the jungle, caught up with the coolest animals (including the most amazing two monkeys hanging out outside my balcony), swam in ceynotes, scuba and snorkel in incredible locations, dolphins, motor bikes and meetings on the beach. What a wonderful, magical place you are in. I love your blog, you are a remarkable writer and I look forward to seeing this shared love of Playa through your clever, funny words! ¡que tengas un maravilloso día! ¡te lo mereces!
