When in Rome... - From: The idea, the plan and now the execution
... are you still going to make Chloe walk at least 2m behind you? I did laugh when you announced that. Take care you two and have a lovely time in Istanbul. Namibia is my next destination after the South American adventure. XX

What!?! - From: The idea, the plan and now the execution
That is totally awesome guys... well done!!! We are back home for two months now and actually would love to go again too. And to be honest I already made a worldtrip part two too haha..looks like your plan. That would have to be Middle-East (first overland to Istanbul en after that down south) ..after that to Africa (still have to work on the exact route there) and after that middle-America and working our way up north up to Canada. If there still is time left: over to Scandinavia and the down to Holland again.... Okay, i still need to convince Christina, but now that you're going..might help! Looking forward to the stories and pictures!! Save travels Laurens http://wereldreis.reismee.nl

Nasca - From: Summing up our South American trip of a lifetime
Only caught this last entry, but I was in Nasca two years ago and had the same experience. A perfect example as well of a town over run by tourist businesses and western culture that was not ready for it. Litter, etc. Although I do have the Nasca Monkey tattoo'd on me now. Sounds like a great journey though.

Nice one - pretty cool huh. When we did the bike ride, anna shot off ahead of me with plan to meet at first stopping point. My chain crapped out and anna was waiting for about 25 mins. White as asheet when I finally got there!!! Your amazon trip looks infinitely cooler than ours in which we say Macaws flying over head every second day!!!! Bum deal.. Laters

Hope You're Better! - From: A shortage of wine in Mendoza
Hi Phil and Chloe! Yikes, the curry wine combo not so good? Well, hopefully it passes quickly, no pun intended. Dain and I just paid for all 4 months rent in one payment, so we are in Bs As for good! Unfortunately, as soon as I start reading your blog I immediately get itchy feet. Oh well. We are enjoying our through stay in the city and still find learning the language to be our biggest challenge. Well, Dain hasn't changed the channel from the purple spandex yoga lady for some time. Take care!

Not it! - From: Patagonia #3 - the southern tip
"Whaddya say, another drink?" LOL Tasha explained how painful that bus ride was, without a hangover! You are both champions! YEAAAA! If it makes you feel better, we were being herded from one end of boat the next all day in a sea of greedy, elbowing, picture taking geriatrics then at the airport were ushered into the wrong plane! We had fight upstream against all these people wanting to get to their seats! Such klutzes.

- From: Rio - 'Marvelous city' - CARNAVAL!!!
Thats quite a cool T-shirt you're wearing under corcavado - weird that it made it into YOUR travel bag. Carnival does look pretty awesome. When we were there about 5 of us stopped at this costume place and put on silly hats and had to pretend millions of folk doing similar - its no quite the same!!? Awesome few days in central. Swimming in the lakes, golf each day and stayed at our section in Ohau. All got a wee bitty sloshed and werenae much good for anything the next day. 2nd open home this sunday.....still no takers! Still Joan is doing a good job at keeping the place tidy and I'm enjoying the lie ins whilst Ken walks Mac 4 times a day. Laters
