We Go Excellent, and half way through your parole. Seems hardly worthwhile planning a trip there, you'll be home with ya glad rags before the cows get home.
Don't want to hear! Been cold and blowing 30 knots, no fish, the sea is rough, can't ride the bike because its so windy and had to stay at home because the wifes sick! So thanks for telling me how great Thailand was, only brought back my own great memories!
Reply to Texas Hi There - there are 2 Cell providers here - Batelco and Zain. Forget Zain. Batelco have the reliability. I have a basic Nokia but friends use Blackberry's on Batelco; Hope that helps Pete
question Hi,
Loved reading what it is like there. I have a friend who is techno challenged and about to head off for a couple of years to Bahrain. I wonder if you could tell me about cellular service there? He cannot get it out of the states as he will be incountry for longer than six months so he must purchase it once he is boots on the ground there. Can you make any suggestions about a Blackberry or a particular service best for his situation? Thank you so much in advance for any advice you can offer.
Hope in Texas
Hi from Pippa You seem to be settling into life very happily. With his cricket expertise, Vettori could be looking for him! It has been nice to have a look at the Blog.
Fanastic...... Hi there guys........this sounds fanastic and what a great writer you are Pete - most amusing! Sorry haven't been in touch, not a lot of spare time when you're retired....you'd understand that!
All good here.....will write a long one later.....
Enjoy - keep smiling!

Merry Christmas to the both of you as well. Hi Guys, So good to catch up with what you have been up to. It all looks and sounds like fun to me.
Derek and I have just today got home from a two week stint around the Sth Island on the bikes. One and a half hours rain in the whole two weeks - not too bad ah!! The wind on the other hand was hellish in places!!
We are off to Egypt in June and then onto England and Scotland. Had thought about Dubai as well but might have to leave it for the next time. Take care and Love to you both.
Chrissi and Derek.
Hello Hello and thank you so much for the lovely newsy letter and piks to bring us up to date with your adventures! I loved it all, but didnt like seeing my best frined standing up in that coffin - I dont like that at all! Lots of love and keep having fun.

Great blog Loving your blog, although makes me feel tad on the lazy side thinking about how little on content mine is :-) Wonderful to have you guys here too.
Pleased to know that you two are settled in to your new home and it sounds great.
Beaut looking apartment and love Myrtle and delighted to learn that Jude is enjoying her teaching.
You will be holidaying in Thailland before you know it.Cheers,TC
wicked apartment guys sounds like you have a KB but if you ever need another let me know. looks like you are in the lap of luxury and all the toys to boot, is that a gym or did you sneak Jim over there!!!!!
Lucky dogs Gidday you two! Great blog! The apartment looks great - nice and cool looking too which would be a blessing I would imagine. I'm sure the teaching will go fantastically Jude - who exactly do you teach? Is it ex-pats kids or Saudi kids? Or both? The book club, British club etc all sound great - and a good excuse to get out and meet and greet, and drink, did I mention drink????!
Look forward to your next blog - all going well here - having a real cold spell at the moment after a gorgeous August, so back to reality! Another southerly is on the way after a real polar blast early in the week. Ah, roll on summer! See ya.
Cheers
Teresa
Brilliant You both look as though you're pretty damn happy with your tripping around and seeing all those wonderful things. What an experience and it doesn't seem to matter where you go in the world there are always some Kiwis. I should think that watching the All Blacks (but only if they win of course, rather embarrasing if they don't) in such a foreign land with some Kiwis would be even more exciting that usual. The news here is all about the earthquake and tsunami in Samoa - pretty tragic stuff.
With all the wonderful food and drink you are partaking of have you managed to lose that weight you were hoping to Jude? The photo's are really good. After close scrutiny I have decided you haven't managed to lose anything yet, but of course there's still plenty of time, wait till you start work it looks like you'll be really run off your feet, such a lot of hours. Anyway thanks for the fantastic travelog - look forward to it. Must take a bit of time to write it. Are u getting used to the heat or is it still pretty intense or maybe even cooling down a little bit. Everyone's good here. Bye for now.
Hey Hi guys, love reading all about Bahrain and what you have been up to??? How interesting, discovering a new place on the other side of the world. How is Jude enjoying the teaching though??? Have you got used to the heat!!! Thailand sounds nice for a xmas break, you lucky things. Miss you guys, luv ya xxoo
