Seattle

After a VERY long day yesterday I made it into Seattle yesterday at 4 PM. A shuttle service was supposed to pick me up at 720 in Hollywood. I called them at 730 and they said they had no record of me but that they would pick me up at 8 AM. At 830 I had to freak out and get a cab. You must understand I had a 10AM flight and it takes 40 minutes to get to LAX. I was none to happy. A very

So we finally left San Diego this morning and it was CLOUDY And the nice girl at the front desk told us look out there is a chance of rain today. I was like 'you have got to be kidding me' Well we got the rented car and started heading up to Anaheim. Over the ocean was a beautiful view of LIGHTING By the time we got up to Anaheim it wasn't drizzling as much anymore. There weren't any

OK first maybe I was to harsh on San Diego while I wrote my daily blog entry last night. But honestly cloudy weather in San Diego is not excusable. At any rate this morning we cheked out of the beach hotel and headed for Old Town. The hotel we stayed in tonight was pretty amazing its more of a gated community. It has 8 different buildings all with a missionary south west cultured lay out

Have a great night and go F yourself San Diego Seriously this is so frustrating. I spend extra money to stay on the beach and I get about 2 hours of sun for 1 day over the 2 days we stayed there. When I was out here last year in May it was May Grey June Gloom. Now I come back in August and its cloudy too. Is this a joke Yesterday we spent the day at various bars on Garnet Street

Checking in with everyone from the beach The hotel the Ocean Park Inn is literally on Pacific Beach. We got in yesterday afternoon and I spent the day walking the beach. There are a lot of surfers and I am considering trying it this afternoon. There is a pretty good strip of bars on a local street around here so thats where we went last night. Didn't stay out to late I'm exhausted after n

Last day in Vegas

On our last day in Vegas I walked the entire strip to see all of the hotels. Since it was 106 degrees I was pretty tired when I finally finished. I have some pictures of the outside of the hotel New York New York. That was definitely one of the best hotels with the most to offer out of the others on the strip. Later on we went to a buffet for dinner at the Flamingo hotel. Mullet ate an un

Yesterday Dave and I went on a bus tour of the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. The day started out rough we were to be picked up at 630 AM. After a late night at Margaritaville I was tired. But the trip was great. We learned a lot of the Las Vegas area away from the strip and then saw the Hoover Dam. The dam is about an hour away from Vegas and then we crossed the border into Arizona. It

I landed in Vegas on Sunday afternoon. I was sitting alone on the plane and just kept saying oh my god out loud. It's amazing how much you can see when you are landing. I got off the plane and immediately heard the sounds of slot machines... in the airport Dave and I got to the hotel and then met the rest of the group. Sunday night was spent just walking arond to some of the hotels takin

Yesterday Jeremy Nicole Austin and I went off to Gruene TX a small town founded in the 1840's. First we walked down to the river to see the flooding water. The street was blocked and there were people rafting. After checking out some good Texas iron decor it was off to Gruene Hall home of Texas' Oldest Dace Hall. Gruene Hall Website.
Well I have finally made it back to Texas. A surprise really considering the weather over the last couple of days here. The flight from Houston to Texas was a little bumpy but overall not to bad. It actually isn't as hot as Atlanta here so that is pretty good. Last night in Atlanta we went out and got some beers and hung out with a couple of people. Nothing that serious just a good pub pla

Yesterday the 15th was a travel day from Newport News VA to Atlanta GA. The airport in Newport News is ridiculously small so there wasn't much going on there. I finally got into Atlanta around 330 and Brian and I went straight to a bar called The Bullpen next to Turner Field. It's real uncomfortable in Atlanta. There experiencing some of there worst heat with humidity in a while. I thin

It was my first time having sushi and it was a good experience We had a drink after dinner. Something I am not used to is smoking allowed in bars and restaurants. It's been a long time since I went into a place and asked if I wanted to sit in a smoking vs. nonsmoking section. Tomorrow we are going to golf for th
