I'm a writer a little older than springtime who has wanted to travel since I was a child. I've spent most of my life so far waiting for it to be the "right time" to start living the life I want to. When I reached half way to dead, I woke up and realized I had to stop doing what others expected and start doing what I wanted to before it was too late. I'm off to Ireland in September to stand on the soil my ancestors tilled...and, God willing, this will be the first of many travels. Peggy

Hi, I'm Peggy. I've never done a blog before, but I decided to create a travelblog for my trip to Ireland with my cousin, Pat. Both of us will be adding to this blog whenever we come across an Internet Cafe on our travels. I've wanted to see Ireland since I was a child and when I said so to Pat a few months ago she said, Me too. I started planning, primarily using the Internet, and finally picked up our tickets on Saturday, August 25, 2007. We'll be away for three weeks, spending some time in London and the rest navigating around Ireland in a rental car. The plan is to stay in B&Bs in Ireland so we'll get a chance to meet local people.
