You are being forewarned that this is going to be a short entry. I just got back from DC last night. I had a lot of fun with some of the participants. This trip did have its share of obligatory “patience builders” though. We did have on incident that required a lot of energy, time, and flexibility, but other than that the trip went smoothly. We did the typical DC activities… monuments, memorials, museums, White House, and zoo. The good thing about DC is that almost every activity is free. I figured that since last Tuesday was my first Sprout plane trip that I should make things interesting and get sick that morning too. I woke up with a really bad sore throat which I now know was Bronchitis. That day was hectic trying to organize meeting all the participants, getting all the med information, going through security, getting everyone situated on the plane, and then finally finding a rental company that will work with us once we got there. Things have been going very well since my last update. I spent all last week working in the Sprout office in Manhattan. Although it was office work and it had its share of boredom, if I had to do office work, I would rather do it in that office surrounded by those people. I was even able to go to a Knicks game last Wednesday with a Sprout group. Tuesday, I left for Cooperstown, NY for my second Sprout van trip. The trip couldn’t have gone better. I have decided that I am sick and tired of dealing with my old traveblog site. The site was down so much that it was an incredible hassle to make any updates. I have switched to this new server to make all of my new updates.
