Merida Fun!!!!!!!
I'm so sad to be back home - did NOT want to leave beautiful Merida. I had such fun and it was great meeting you! Enjoyed your blog and was nice to see our picture on it as well!! Johnny is still there - three weeks now and he still hasn't gotten his visa back... he may be there for good. He'd love that!! Well, I'm jealous -- keep enjoying Merida! Bonnie

Glad you are having fun.
Patt, great to see that you are enjoying yourslef again! I am working for ExxonMobil in Thailand at the moment. It is exotic here. Thai men are in short supply and so we ex-pats are sought as extra good catches. I have all ready been told that I do not have to be married all the time! Me! Boy are they desperate here! Of course, I immediately changed the subject. The women are so small I do not want to hurt anyone! I know what you are say "Ya, right!". Leave for home tomorrow after two months here. The second thing I will do when I get home will be to put down my luggage. Miss you, Jeff.

So glad you had good memories
I have sent your post on to George and I'm sure he'll mention the info on his project. Perhaps others who know you will have a smile as well.

Hi, Jeff!
No, not really retired, just not taking less than I feel I deserve. Yeah, first time for me dancing in a while and I sure felt it the next day! Grant's in Florida now but all my other friends are in Dallas and I need to visit before the end of the year. I'll definitely let y'all know when I make it up there. Have another costume for Halloween so I can't leave yet! Say hi to Betty and I'm glad she's doing so well and keeping you in line. Sure you don't want one more little project before retirement? You like working and you know it! Hope the boys and the doggies are doing well too. Miss y'all.

Good Time!
Patt, looks like everyone had a good time. I can't remember the last time I danced. Apparently you are not working. Are you retired? When this current job ends in April 2011 I am going to retire for sure this time! Betty had her left shoulder replaced and is recovering nicely. She is back yelling at me full time. It is so good to hear that after her operation. If you come up this way to see Grant please let me know. Jeff

Come on to Texas!
Be aware that we have hot weather, lots of humidity and mosquitoes as big as your fist and abundant! And some of us (me!) hate cold weather!! It's such a large state that any type of terrain, culture or events can be found. Guess I'm partial to the southeast Texas coast since I keep coming back here.

Cool hot rods
VERY cool hot rods, and I didn't know Texas had such good hunting. I plan to visit there soon -- I travel a lot and like to book at www.hotels-in.com. It's probably my favorite website. Anyways, definately planning to visit TX soon. Thanx for the post -- gets me thinking about what I want to do on my trip.

Crocs are safe from me!
I can't swim so don't even dip my toes in the waters. Even in the Yucatan! I was terrified on that boat trip that turned out hours longer than the guys promised me. So goes Belize! I knew I wasn't in real danger though because the guys (especially Turner) knew that I would/ could kill them before I died!

Croc Sighting!!
Patt, I hope you stay well away from the water! Crocs have been known to go after prey just walking near the water. They also can swim in salt water. I don't thing Belize is for me! Be careful out there. Jeff

Retired? Who me?
No, Jeff. I'm just taking a deserving break between projects and having a lot of fun. Tired of going to projects that overlap without a break. I'll probably be in Dallas during the holidays this year and will see y'all if there's a chance y'all will be in that part of the world. Son's in Florida now so may even go there as well.

Retired?
Patt, are you officially retired? I see that you are having all this fun, which is good, but what about work? I am working on a capital project job at the ExxonMobil Refinery in Joliet, Illinois. I am the ExxonMobil Safety Manager on this job. When this job ends in April 2011, I am going to retire for the last time. I hope to make a trip to Beaumont then and see several people including you. Take care. Jeff
