Summer Lovin' Looks like you loved it there...My favourite photo is of Snowy Peaks and Misty clouds.
Did you get to see any Marmot? I only saw one once when I was near the top of the Pass over the Dolomites.Have you visited the Sud Tirol with the Dolomites and the Brenner Alps...well worth a visit..Lake Maggorie(with its tiny Islands is also a very beautiful place, especially the islands of 'Isola Bella' and 'Isola Madre'....Thank you for the Blog, really enjoying it as always.....June
Enjoyed all the pictures. The ones in Switzerland brought back many good memories. Instead of being a Florida Swiss Frau I thought you were getting ready to sing "...the hills are alive with the Sound of Music". Enjoy your time in Greece
Ringling Museum Statue I really don't know the background story of this statue. It is in the garden of the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, FL where I live. Sorry that I can't supply you with more information.
A big thank you. Thank you Pam and Ron,It is so nice to see lots of the shots and to see lots of the places the TV has not taken photos of.My daughter and Grandson live about 5 miles to the east of Stratford....so it made me feel closer to them.I doubt that I will ever get back to the UK again ,so it was especially poignant for me....a BIG THANK YOU!!!!!
Olympic blog Wow! You guys have done wonders in experiencing the London Olympics. Congrats. Glad to hear that your are having such a fantastic time. Hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly. Don
Wow! You guys shine and rock. What a fantastic experience for you both. Sounds so exciting. I watched those interviews and looked for signs in the crowd, but didn't see yours. Oh, well......thanks for sharing.
London 2012 Great that you saw a good variety of sports at the Olympic Games. Your photos really captured being there. Michael Phelps - what an absolute legend, it is an honour to see him swim. I noticed you attended the Basketball - I actually saw the 1992 US Dream Team play their quarter final at the Barcelona Olympics - Barkley, Bird, Jordan, Johnson, Pippen - that was also an honour to attend such a game!
Wish I were there So glad you are having a great time. Sure your sad to miss our yoga but some one has to fill the seats. Looking forward to your next posting.
AWESOME as always Dear Pam and Ron,
Love the update on your recent destinations, Greece is still on my bucket list :) I hope the Olympics are a blast and I will be looking for the Sarasota/Tuscon flag amongst the thousands of others! :) Have a safe trip home, looking forward to September already. WE finally got some blessed rain, too little, too late for the farmers and my garden and many of my plants, but thankful it arrived anyway! Hugs to both, Jody
Hi RPM,
I finally took the time to check out the new information and pictures. Loved all the pictures, especially those of the beaches at sunset. I want to nap and/or watch the whales from that hammock. The blog is still coming to our old e-mail address,so you need to change that or I won't get your blogs anymore ) : Glad you are having a great time and wonderful weather. I think of you often and am looking forward to seeing you both in Feb. No news from here. It has finally gotten cold, but no snow so far. Take care and have safe travels. I almost forgot!!! We had really goos sourdough pancakes from the starter you sent . Love, Nancy
