Ok, so we've been a bit (well VERY) lazy about this whole blog thing...apologies!! We arrived safely in Auckland you will be pleased to know, unfortunatly to rain - something we are no longer accustomed to after the likes of Australia! The sun decided to find us recently so weve been lacking on the blog side, so now here is a long but very compact entry of the recent happenings..... Rest of Sydney... We went on our trip to the Blue Mountains which was pretty awesome, although very cold indeed! Firstly our tour guide was a typical australian tour dude, with the strong accent and tour guide beige hat, so he added lots of amusement to our trip! For our second flight of the trip, we successfully managed to fall asleep before the plane had even moved out of its parking space. We awoke to a tap on the shoulder saying 'breakfast' then once again for dinner. We were saddened to see the rain outside, but the amazing view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as we descended at night made up for it. After our good nights sleep (well for Kelly) we woke up in time to check out. Leanne rudely threw a book at Kelly to wake her :-) Considering the excessive weight of our bags, we thought the best idea of the day was to leave them at the hostel whilst we wondered off. So off we set! We walked further out towards Kowloon to go to a Jewellry Market, called the Jade Market. All the jewellry was made with the Jade stone. Before even arriving in Hong Kong, we were impressed by our two-storey plane! Kelly's first words were 'Wow it has stairs!!' Some man overheard us complaining that the stupid check-in lady hadnt sat us together and kindly swapped! We spent the flight enjoying the movies, games (especially solitare) and the endless amount of free food! Lunch ,breakfast, chocolate, drinks, and MARS icecreams! Leanne was overly impressed! The flight was long and we didnt sleep much so we had to prepare ourselves for a long tiring day that ended with over 32 hours of awakeness...! (Is that even a word?..it is now! [View Full Entry]

Only 11 hours until we are on that flight out of here! Still doesn't feel real yet, despite having the ol' backpacks overflowing! We don't understand how people take the same backpacks for a year...pft! Struggling to limit our clothes etc. for only 3 months! The bags look extremely sexy...not...and are extremely heavy :-( (Well Leanne's is for sure!) Au revoir for now...Hong Kong here we come!
