Christmas is a working day in Mongolia....I have never worked during Christmas although i am a non Christian. As a malaysian, we do celebrate Christmas in Malaysia with our fellow Christian friends. All shopping centers and pubs/restaurants are full of christmas decoration. It is lively and happening in Malaysia. Do Mongolians celebrate Christmas? Traditionally, they don't but u can see many people selling christmas trees and christmas decoration items either in the shopping mall or along the street. I guess this could be due to the influence of the Russian or westerners. Some even decorate [View Full Entry]

Mongolian Language Asia » Mongolia » Ulaanbaatar
Can Anybody speak or read Mongolian language? Have u ever thought whether they will be any problem if you have reached a country where u can’t communicate? Frankly speaking…i never thought that would be a problem as I have been to Italy and Spain as a tourist. I don’t see any big problem with it as they can speak little English. I still remember once i was in Italy and i was trying to ask for the train fare to another city but the ticket seller can’t understand me. I just use an international sign for money - (showing and rubbing [View Full Entry]

For those who have visited Genting Highlands, it is certainly a place of fun and excitement to enjoy the coldness in a hot country like Malaysia. However, Bukit Tinggi, it is an alternative place where u can enjoy chilly weather and beauty of highlands. It does not have much excitement as in Genting Highlands but you can certainly find it a place to unwind yourself in a highland of 3000m. You may also find a lot of pine trees growing along the way up to the hill. Colmar Tropicale Resorts, in Bukit Tinggi, was built with French concept architecture. A Castle [View Full Entry]
