| 3rd December 2009 PA Leslie | You are completely right! - From: A night in Addis Ababa Thanks Em and Abebe! You are 100% right and I found it meeting a young Norwegian student who is studying in Addis Ababa. I found out a lot of things about Ethiopia will having diner with him. For example, Addis is not at 400 meters altitude, but 2400...a slight difference...I was not really sure of all the info I received from my taxi driver, but for sure, they were less than accurate. Sorry again for not given proper info, that I simply did not have. |
| 1st December 2009 anonymous | Ethiopia is Coptic - From: A night in Addis Ababa Having grown up in Ethiopia but not been there since it was interesting to see the pictures. Ethiopia has a long history as a Coptic (Christian) country whose history predates Islam as a religion and could not be considered a muslim country. . |

| 30th November 2009 Em | Not a muslim country - From: A night in Addis Ababa Ethiopia is a very, very, very Christian country. It is one of the few Coptic places on earth. Eritrea, a separate country, is Muslim, but Ethiopia definitely is not. |
| 29th November 2009 abebe | - From: A night in Addis Ababa Hey Pierre, Thankyou for your kind words to Ethiopia. But for your information Ethiopia is not a muslim country. Both in it's number and dominance,it is a christian country though it is a country which all of religions live together peacefully.. Have a great time |

| 4th November 2009 PA Leslie | Hi - From: Bhaktapur, a dream in the Himalayas They had fighting before. Foreigners have never been targeted, so I would not change my plans. If things happen, as they did before, the "action" is only in Kathmandu and they are making sure all foreigners are safe. Enjoy your trip. |

| 5th October 2009 Marti | sounds like fun - From: DRC...where carrying a camera can be more dangerous than carrying a gun Hi Peter, 77th country? Wow. Hey, include Chris on your blog, too. Love to all of you, Marti |
| 1st October 2009 PA Leslie | Hi - From: DRC...where carrying a camera can be more dangerous than carrying a gun I'm the first to admit that the golf stuff is a weird one. There was no other golfer when I was there...at least a caddy got his daily salary because of me... Next country, new one for me again, a lot less original, and Donna and Neil, this time not confirm yet as we are still on waiting list, we are using miles to get there....but in November and Feb, I've got two more new countires on the plan...seriously out of most people list...mine including! No more entries for 2 or 3 weeks, sorry.... |
| 1st October 2009 Donna and Neil | No immigration... - From: DRC...where carrying a camera can be more dangerous than carrying a gun ...what a progressive country (hahaha!) how much time do we waste spending it in line at various Immigrations? Nice blog Peter, glad you enjoyed your short stay in DRC and agree with Liliram, how weird to play golf! Are you going to reveal where you are going next or is it a surprise? Hope the three of you are well and Leslie is still enjoying school. |
| 1st October 2009 liliram | Glad ur back....... - From: DRC...where carrying a camera can be more dangerous than carrying a gun It must really be so unreal to be there, and playing golf! I wonder how empty that course was, and if that was a membership golf course. Anyway, nice to know you made it back , and with these pics too to give us readers a glimpse of what you are up to this time! |

| 21st September 2009 PA Leslie | Hi - From: Chiang Mai...just a week-end...but hey, these are fun weekend! There seems to have a lot to do in Chiang Mai...and we will continue to discover...the pica were taken by the rafting company. Mine were really...too funny...the simple problem is focusing in the middle of a BIG wave....you can do it...but staying on the raft at the same time and making sure everybody stay safe because of my funny behavior...can make it tricky...basically...I did not know my fingers were sooo big in order to cover the ALL camera. Next blog coming soon...I'm dealing with "serious adventures" for the moment in Saigon, but this is not travel related, andnothing to laugh about...time will tell....you just have to trust...and pray can help also... |
| 21st September 2009 liliram | sure looks like a lot of fun! - From: Chiang Mai...just a week-end...but hey, these are fun weekend! When I think Chiang Mai, I always think elephant rides. Now I know there's lots more to do there. Hey, those are funny pics. Who took the photos? |
