It's Dave's fault, and he blames it on the cost of the beer. At $2 for a long neck it would be a crime against drinking not to at least try the local drop...
Hi there - it sounds as if you are having a wonderful time. No parcels have arrived yet. Where do you find the time to write wuch great travel tales? The photos are really lovely and makes you realikse that there is a great big world out there and we have only seen a little bit of it. Had a great time in France - no mishaps driving on the wrong side of the road. Can't wait to do it again. Love to you both, Mum
I'm jealous!! What more can I say? Fabulous sights, fabulous sites, obviously some great beaches and great weather to enjoy them with... Reading your blog is a great tonic on a friday afternoon to emails, phonecalls and everything else! ( and I've only been back working this week!!)
Keep enjoying yourself and keep the blog entries coming! We've got a guest speaker at our Metropolitan Transport Forum meeting next week talking about scooters and motorbikes - maybe I'll illustrate it with some photos of you two!!
Cheers,
Janet

In Jan 2007 we set out on an overland journey from Asia to Europe overland. From India, via Nepal, Tibet, China, Mongolia, Russia and Europe ... destination Ireland, with no flights. Trains, buses, tuk-tuks, boats, bikes, yak, camel, and rickshaws all formed the basis of our travels.
Suze spent a year living and working in Ireland (in between all the long weekends away), Dave returned to Oz for 6 months but re... full info
