what an adventure !! I have read your blog twice and have gained much each time - about the country, what you are doing, etc., etc..
It is all most interesting, dear. The pictures are great too, even though you got them from the internet. It wil be so interesting to learn more about the country and the people. I think I read somewhere recently that something like 70 % of the people of Malawi are Christian. Are you aware of that aspect yet ? I will be checking your blogs on a regular basis Keep me informed.
Don't even know where to begin! Hi Ian!
It's it long overdue that I comment on your blog. I'm so sorry I was such a space cadet when we chatted yesterday. Your experiences continuously blow me away! I'm really interested in the work you are doing. I want to know more about the different groups you are working with and exactly how it all fits together. TFAC and ABC sound really interesting. I think you are perfectly suited to be doing this kind of work. I also hope to talk to you soon about the events that led up to your going to Malawi. I always tell my friends about you ('My childhood friend who has done and will continue to do the most amazing things in his life with absolute determination and humility' . . something along those lines^^). I miss you so much, but your being on the other side of the world and doing great things inspires me in so many ways! So I can cope. . hee hee! All the best!
Wow it's sounds like you are having an awesome time! I am excited to read about your experiences and it is giving me such a travel bug!! By the way theater/drama get to know each other games should be done every where - how fun! My work is going well too ...not as exciting but certainly good. keep up the stories :)
Wow! Ok, youre in Africa??? What the?? You are my idol! lol... Do you want to trade lives, cuz that would be great!!!! I miss you and i am so proud of you... you are living your life to the fullest! Good to hear from you and keep the blogs coming!!!

Awesome pictures! Wow, Ian, your pictures really bring me back to Quito - you're a wicked photographer... well, as usual, it sounds like you're having a blast, and I'm insanely jealous... oh, and I promise I will answer your e-mail soon, it's just been pretty busy lately... but I will do it, I swear!
P.S. Happy Canada Day!!!!!!!!!!
Sweetness I effin love your blog man, good job, minus the ugly picture of me on the phone so take it off ASAP (PORFA)!! haha... so yeah that concert sounds fabulous why wasnt i invited ?? Geash!!! Anywho, I heart living in Quito too and especially hanging out with YOU... so how about we stay in old town for life! Deal? Deal! PS tonight was FANTABULOUS, I love our Monday tradition of getting drunk and eating delicious food (by the way, my steak won)! So anyway, I will see you on CANADA DAY baby, dont forget to claim cotopaxi for us with your flag...MAKE US PROUD !!!!!
Culture in Quito Your postings are great. Keep it up. Quito and Ecuador sound like a rich life-opportunity environment. Carol and I are getting exicted thinking that your Mom and Day will be with you so soon. When they return to Linsday we will get to learn more about Quito and Ecuador. In fact, MMM are working on the new airport in Quito and the Environmental Management department that I work in may be undertaking a project there in 2007. I sure hope so.
it was soooooooo amazing to have such tough adventure with your tent!! please say hello to him (or her?) and praise his/her nice singing and the hard-work all night long~~ hahahaha~~~
Hi Ian I've never sent a comment before - but thought I would try this technology just to say Hi to you and let you know that we are enjoying your travels. All the best, Maria
Wow Hey Ian
Wow, you are really going everywhere - this place looks so beautiful, where is it again? How long did it take to get out of Quito - their transportation around the city is pretty efficient, but all those switchbacks in the Andes must have taken forever to go around...
Anyways, looks like you're having an amazing time!
Mister Anderson As Chistine said, Ian its good to see you're having an amazing time. You're pictures and commentry are cool. I can't wait for our reunion soon! Take care on your journey!
it is terribly funny! i didn't know you are such a humorous writer~~
it also reminds me my beach party experience on Lammar Island last semester... minimal, alcohol, no tents, sandy eyes and mouth, no beautiful sunrise, rainy morning, drunk white boy, no boat back...
haha!
Geezzz Salud to late blogging!? NO no no! Its about damn time you finished this mother... haha but I guess it was worth the wait my friend... it was pretty fantastic, might I tell you! You are such a beautiful writter and you are so informative!! Good job, keep it up!! Have I ever told you you should be a journalist? Well you should! Anyway you rule my world... ciao for now guapo!!
Wow! Hey Ian! It's good to see that you're having an amazing time! It's so weird to hear all your stories, I'm getting this weird sense of deja vu, cuz you're going to all the places that I visited (like Banos, La Mitad del Mundo, and Volcan Tungurahua!), so it's fun to relive all the experiences vicariously through you! Hey, have you gone to Otavalo Market yet? it's really near quito, and it's a lot less touristy than Banos - you should check it out, if you haven't already!
Well, keep posting, and I'll let you know if I can come up and visit you - I'm considering it, if the offer's still good :)
in the cold There are 200 types of flowers where you are that grow no where else on the planet. if you bring me back a pressed one, i'll give you a cookie!
