Well last time i wrote everyone I was in dali, a really cool old city. So I actually did stay there a few days, and it was very nice. In dali I met Oz and Yael an israeli couple we were with in yangshou and shlomi again. And also 3 israeli girls that we met in kunming shelly, tom and revital. We took a bicycle and did a tour around the lake outside the city, again we passed through villages and it was very nice. We went out at night to a chinese pub and strangely the chinese people decide to buy you all the alcohol you want, so we got completely drunk, danced a lot and had a lot of fun with the chinese people. The next day me yaniv and tom climbed to a ... read more

So I last left you in Auckland taking the flight to HongKong. I arrived to hongkong after a flight that was really nice and passed fast, I reached the city pretty easily and descended from the bus to the station where I got a recommendation for a cheap place to sleep. Right when I come off the station I see the area is like the tachana merkazit in israel, just with huge skyscrappers. Straight away a chinese guy jumps on me to offer me a place to sleep, since it's in the same place where I got a recommendation I followed him, he led me to miridor mansion, which is a huge building full of foreign workers and backpackers looking for cheap place to stay, we went to the 13 floor and he showed me the ... read more

Hey everybody!!!, Yes I know I haven't written for a long time, but there just wan't much to tell. After my 3 months of travelling non stop, I took a rest. Well actually it was not a rest, I met a friend from the start of the trip(Tom) and went to nelson to work where he was working. The work was apple picking, you pick a lot of apples into huge bins(400 kg) and get payed by the number of bins you do. The work was very hard, but it was a great experience, working in the sun all day long, a physical work. We were also a group of 5 israelis and many other people from around the world, sleeping at the same place, eating together, cooking, playing chess, having a lot of fun, going ... read more

Hey everyone, I had a pretty busy time lately and didn't update any pictures at all, and as you all know my last update was pretty long. Anyways, first I want to say that I updated the blog, with the last update and divided it to sections with the right pictures on each one. There are my bungi pics, my beard pics, the routeburn pics and the milfod pics. I think it's something like 50+ photos so it's a lot for you to check out. So I expect some replies and comments on the pictures, this time there are enough ;). As for the update, well after the milford I drove to dunedin, which is a student city. We had a lot of fun there, we met Ron and his girlfriend lilach and went to a ... read more

We came back from the routeburn track all wet and very tired, got back to queenstown and jumped into town for the internet. On the way I told daniel that maybe we should check at the D.O.C office(the office that is responsible for all the walking tracks in new zealand) if there was a cancellation on the milford track and to see if there is room for us. Now the milford track is the most popular track in NZ and considered by many to be the most beautifull, not only in New zealand but in the entire world. To get on this track you usually have to book it from October, and I obviously didn't do that. Me and Daniel checked for the entire last 2 weeks to see if there were places and there never ... read more

Well after a few days in queenstown, 4 I believe we couldn't wait to get out of there and start doing a track, and we booked the routeburn, which is a "Great walk" that is one of newzealand's most known and busiest walks, that you got to order in advance. The routeburn track starts near queenstown and ends 3 hours by car from it, in the fiordlands, so we had to combine it with another track called the greenstone and that gets us back very close to where we started the track from. So the track was in total 4 days, I had an amazing day on the 1st day in the routeburn, very good weather and amazing views, I will post the pictures very soon, I also met zvika a guy I travelled with in ... read more

Adding the update on the 30/03/06, but this is from the beginning of march. So yes another long update, after another few very eventfull weeks. This time I did so many things, and so important as well that I need to split the mail into parts, for your reading pleasures. I finished the last update when going to queenstown, the main tourist city in New Zealand and one that actually has a bit of nightlife. Right on the arrival to queenstown, Daniel was all excited all he could talk about is jumping the NEVIS the 134 meter bungi in queenstown, one of the highest bungi jumps in the world. To tell you the truth I was really scared, but I decided I got to get over my fear and if so I should do it with ... read more

Hello all, Been not so long since the last update but I managed to do so many things: I went to golden bay which was completely amazing, you see a wonderfull beach surrounded by a forest and rocks in all kind of shapes and all that in a 30 minutes walk. Ofcourse we went further and did a few hours, but it was really great. Golden bay is also an area of very relaxed hippi people so you have a very relaxed and cool atmoshpere. We stayed at a house of a very weird german couple who had a sheep as a pet, it was pretty nice. From there we went to the nelson lakes area and did a track there, we had a forecast of bad weather so we took a route that is more ... read more

Hey everyone, So Again a long time passed since my last mail, And this time I will try and keep this update much shorter. On my last update I was in wellington the capital of NZ and the city where you take the ferry(boat) to the south Island from. I took the ferry on the 20 of january and arrived to picton, still with ron the guy I am lifting with. On the ferry we met 2 other israelis, amir and ofri, very nice guys and they joined us on the HIT place we were sleeping at in picton. We decided to do the queen charlotte track together, it's a 4 days track all around sea and bays, and there are water taxis that take your big bags from place to place, so we thought it ... read more

Hey all! I managed to get some internet time! I did so much since the past mail that I don't know if i can put it all in here, I will try and keep it short since I know it's boring to read Large mails. I suggest you read this in 2 parts!! it is just too long. Anyway the last time I wrote we just arrived in auckland, we were supposed to split, and we did but only 2 left for the beginning since 5 others wanted to do the same thing. So I stayed in the van with the guy that bought it from us together with 3 other people from before. We decided to go to Coromendell, it's a pennisulla to the east of auckland. There we stayed one night in Camping, which ... read more
