Ciagle jestem w Buenos i bardzo trudno mi wyjechac. Juz kilka razy przekladalam wyjazd. Wczoraj sie relaksowalam. Zaczela mnie bolec stopa od przemierzania tych wszystkich kilometrow wiec wolalam odpoczac. Wiekszosc dnia spedzilam w towarzystwie wczesniej poznany Kolumbijczykow i Argentynczykow. Prawdziwe wolne duchy, zyja gdzie im sie podoba, pracuja kiedy im sie podoba i nie sa zalezni od nikogo. Bylo bardzo milo, pogawedki, argentynskie wino i nicnierobienie. Wieczorem poszlismy na swietna impreze z brazylijska muzyka na zywo. Wreszcie bylam w miejscu znanym miejscowym i bez tlumow turystow. Well, I´m still here and it is so hard to leave. I keep postponing it... Yesterday was a chill out day. I had already pain in one foot so I decided to give it a rest. For most of the day I hanged out with a nice group of people that I met (colombianos/argentinos). They are real free spirits, living when the want, working when the want, and not dependent on anyone. Wczoraj wybralam sie na zwiedzanie bogatszych czesci Buenos. Odwiedzilam muzeum Evity Peron, ktora dla Argentynczykow jest swieta i to w dokladnym znaczeniu tego slowa. W muzeum oprocz jej zdjec, plakatow z czasow, kiedy byla artystka i przedmiotow codziennego uzytku, znajduje sie kilka obrazkow z Evita stylizowana na Marie Panne. Zszokowal mnie film pokazujacy zabalsamowane po smierci cialo Evity, ktora zmrla na raka w wieku 33 lat. Cialo ma zlamany nos, jest bez ucha i z uszkodzonymi stopami. Kiedy Peron zostal odsunieto od wladzy, cialo Evity zaginelo i po latach zostalo odnalezione w takim stanie. Ostatecznie Evita spoczela na cmentarzu La Recoleta. [View Full Entry]

Yesterday I went to see richer parts of Buenos. I visited museum of Evita Peron, who is considered Saint by Argentinian people. In the museum, besides her photos and posters from times when she was an artists, and her home equipment, there are displayed pictures of Evita as Virgine Mary. I was shoked by movie showing balsamed body of Evita, who had cancer and died at the age of 33. The body had broken nose, is lacking of ear and has feet damaged. When Peron lost power, body of Evita went missing and after many years was found in this condition. [View Full Entry]

Nie moge powiedziec, ze jestem szczegolnie zachwycona stolica Argentyny. Centrum jest brzydkie, brudne i zapuszczone. Jednak Plaza de Mayo jest placem wartym uwagi. Tu znajduje sie Casa de Gobierno, ktory dzieki swojemu rozowemu kolorowi zwany jest tez Casa Rosada (rozowy dom). W 19 wieku budynki byly czesto malowane na rozowo a kolor otrzymywany byl przez wymieszanie bialej farby z krwia osla. Z Casa Rosada zarowno Evita, Juan Peron, jak i Maradona przemawiali do tlumow. Wczorajszy wieczor spedzilam w San Telmo, ktore jak narazie jest moim ulubionym miejscem w Buenos. Jest to malenka, urocza dzielnica z brukowanymi uliczkami, malymi kafejkami i restauracjami. Second day in Buenos Aires and I already have a sun burn (it´s not that bad, not even very painful, just a little bit red). I cannot say I am delighted by Argentinian capital. The central part is ugly, dirty and neglected. However Plaza de Mayo is very interesting with Casa de Gobierno, which thanks to its pink colour is also called Casa Rosada. In 19th centry this colour was quite common in the countryised and originally was obtained by mixing white paint with ox´s blood. Today I'm leaving!! First I'm flying to Madrid and then straight to Buenos Aires. I'm a bit scared but much more excited. My initial plan is to stay few days in Buenos Aires and then travel a bit on the north of Argentina where presently they have summer. Finally some sun after 2 summers in London.
