Family Reunion Dear Dianne and Bruce,
The looks on your faces when you are with Nicole say it all! The only person missing is Saskia, and after seeing these pictures I'm sure she'll try to find a way of getting over to New Zealand. I am really impressed with how beautiful the countryside is. I would love to live in Chris and Nicole's house: no steps and out in the country. Who could ask for anything more?
I really look forward to and enjoy your blog. I will share it with Bill and Nancy who are also very interested in your wanderings.
Ever thought of writing a book, Dianne? I think you have the makings for a great one.
Please say hello to Nicole for me.
Louise
awesome Thats what I call living! How will you ever come back to the states, and be happy?
We truly enjoy hearing from you and seeing your travels. maybe John will get inspired
to get out of Coxsackie.!!!!!
Angels around all of you, safe traveling.
You Made it!!!!! Hurray! What wonderful pictures! Sounds like you are having a ball. How far away is Nicole from school? Her cute home looks like it is in the middle of "Sound of Music" backdrop. I could live there very easily. Enjoy... stay in touch...all is well on the "home front" at SWH.
Miss not having you around!
Stay well.
YEAH! Congrats! So glad you're there. Love seeing the progression of your trip. I love our cruises and just hanging out on deck watching the ocean was my favorite too!
Not much new here-the usual-a sherriff came down our driveway and shot a racoon three times in broad daylight! Let's see...Bill and I were at the Spectrum seeing Wall Street and the electricity went out 1/2 way through-had to go back next day to finish.
HMMM.
68 yesterday 70ish today
Love to you all,
MB
Hello Hello to everyone. (Hi Nicole!!!) I sure hope we can visit there someday too! Henry has applied to 5 universities in the UK, so we may have another overseas student in the family. We'll be looking to you for advice. I enjoyed the trip over (by Blog) and look forward to reading and learning more about NZ!
Love, Karen (David, Henry, Conner and Hannah say hello too!!)
Amazing! I am so happy for you both! What an amazing adventure you have decided to go on... Glad that you are sharing it with everyone. You are right about following the standard societal norms... job, family, house... or tossing that out the window and going on an adventure... seeing what else life has to offer... Your pictures are amazing! I have decided to put Hawaii on my list of places to see! Can't wait to hear more about NZ once you get there! Be safe!
thanks for writing have been following your pacific exploits and anxiously awaiting the next installments. glad you are having fun. when do you get to NZ?
The end is near Oh yes I have been enjoying the travels of the Laydens. When do you arrive in NZ? I thought it as the 22nd but Peg is probably right ...the 26th. We did go to Wait, Wait. Because it was a radio recording the accoustics were not as good as we thought. Do you get US news? I'm sure you do. Did you get absentee ballots? NY govenor race has taken an interesting turn. Doug is working very hard and doing really well. He's tired. I remember being tired all the time. We haven't been able to connect with Saskia yet and now she has a j-o-b. we probably won't see her until she's about ready to leave. Thanksgiving and Christmas with all of you together...how can you contain your excitement!!!
Be well...

Thanks so much for sending me your blogs. It looks like you are having a great time and it made me smile so much. Dianne you write beautifully. Now I know where Saskia gets it from. Your photos are also beautiful and fun to see where you have been. Please put a photo of your room on the blog so we can see that comfy bed.

You will love Vancouver Is. Victoria is a great little city. Just outside of town is a zip line. You'd probably need a car to get there. Be sure to view the House of Commons at night. Spectacular. Have a great time and holding my breath until I faint waiting for your next update.
Bruce & Dianne sold everything in NY, (upstate) and are off to see there Daughter in NZ. We will spend a few months and see where the winds take us. ... full info
