Maybe they should stop naming the roads and stairways "..... Death" when people see the word death, they start to get nervous and can't drive or walk straight and boom... accidents!!!! It's my thought!!
These aren't the Droids you are looking for... I'm starting to wonder when we will be getting to the part where 3 robust local lasses are fanning you with banana leaves while waiting for the hot oil to heat up for the massage of a lifetime? Ooops, wrong Blog?
Great Story I so enjoyed this story.....it takes me on the journey with you....I have not seen much of our world but I do get to see it through you eyes.
Thank you so much!
Love you
Mom
Photographer person? Uh, ya NEED to bring the camera. Oh, and also use it. Not that hard. They don't call it point 'n shoot for nothing you know. As to bring along the professional in the family? Your plan is to feed him bugs, roots, and leaves? No pastrami?
Fermented fish you say? Oh yummy! I did get an enormous kick out of you being able to ask for food, and then have no idea what is being offered...I'm guessing the pastrami sandwiches come in a can? I'm sort of hoping that you took a picture of the half a roasted cow. Speaking of which, just what part of a water buffalo is the delicacy?
And so the journey is on its way... I think is it so wonderful to see you traveling throughout the country with new friends and well some things don't change..a broken jeep...thank you for the wonderful story...
love mom
This sounded like a lot of fun I laughed when I read the banter with the lady from the fruit stand..so you can actually buy anything on the road trip...so funny
Great blog! I am enjoying your blog a lot. If you don't mind, I have a question to ask you: Is the internet connection in Sihanoukville reasonably fast and reliable? I mean is it fast enough for Skype voice calls? My wife teaches English online and we are considering to move there for a year, but the Internet is a vital factor.
I hope you read this. Your input would be really appreciated.

RIP Ikelos Brett...I always loved your pups and was fortunate enough to call them (and you) friends and house-mates. He was quite lucky to have you in his life, you showed him what real adventure is! I am sure that Sasha, Ikelos and Elvis are all having a blast and running free, just happy that we got to be a part of their wild ride called life! Rastafari!
Rest in peace poppy!!! We will miss you so much! You were a great dog! Thank you for the love and protection!! I always felt very safe with you when Brett was out of town. I have so many memories of you!
How lucky he was to have had you as his friend and companion He will be missed but he didn't leave you until you were settled in and ready to move on with your life..he completed his job...now make him proud and do something wonderful with your time and life....because as you can see we are all only here for a very short time.
