Keep up the great work with the kids -- we love the pictures and the travel blog. Love to you both, Kristie and family. (wanted to call on New Year's, but the X-mas call cost $138!! So, Happy New Year! :-) |

Can't wait to give your nephews the update at bedtime...I will though. | 19th January 2007 Urs | wow - From: In Gombe with Dr. Jane and our kids Completely amazing! It does indeed sound like a dream come true. Though we've had some amazing hikes here in New Zealand, the wildlife doesn't really get bigger than chicken-sized birds. I know it's hard to update these things, but we love hearing every word. Stay safe and have fun! Urs & Angela |

| 19th January 2007 Jeffrey T | Ah, it is well into January, and I am just now reading this... - From: Been here a whole month ...Well, you two, now that you have heard what the elections brought us... It must be similar, electricity-wise, to Queens: I KNOW Erik was a scatterbrain in paying ConEdison.. Safe & Well, Jeffrey |
| 19th January 2007 Jeffrey T | Doing good, you two do-gooders! - From: In Gombe with Dr. Jane and our kids Dear Angel, I like the way you tell a story- and the fotos attached add salt to the flavor of your blog... Next blog, it'd be nice to hear the both of you, perhaps in dialogue! I think I know a fellow nearby that might be able to handle dialogue... Restez près des bras forts et des yeux clairs de ce camarade. Restez sûr, et apportez ces histoires de nouveau à New York. Love and regards, Jeffrey |
| 19th January 2007 Megwen | Exploring suburbia back home - From: In Gombe with Dr. Jane and our kids We, too, have had some truly amazing adventures back home. Just yesterday, we went to Target and found that the EXACT kind of deoderant we were looking for... was on SALE! Unbelievable. I mean, it's not every day that that happens. I meant to take a picture of it on the shelf with all the other things on sale (!), but as you can imagine I was too overwhelmed to get an in-focus shot. I can tell you, though, it was such an emotional rush that I was hot and sweaty, with my heart pounding, nearly delirious with the sheer emotional weight of it all... it's a good thing the puddles in the parking lot were all frozen over, or else I would have sent Andreas ahead and jumped in for a refreshing dip! I wish you could have been there. It might have been the Most Exciting thing that's happened to you All Month! Seriously. Ah well, YOUR loss... ;) |

| 17th November 2006 Naomi | - From: Been here a whole month Hey guys, I totally understand. I was pretty crappy at keeping my 'readers at home' informed when I was in Ghana and we didn't even have any electricity problems there... and the pics take hours to upload... I ended up downloading an image re-sizer so you can make all your pics small and quicker to upload on to the net. But I have to admitt, it is nice to read up on what and how you guys are doing, even if it is at random. Look forward to hearing more news!! Hope you guys are well and enjoying hte lovely Africa! Love Naomi |

| 6th November 2006 Jennifer | Yes! Blogdom is great. - From: Been here a whole month Angel & Erik: We're so happy to see that you have a blog up and running. The electricity situation sounds... sticky. I hope things improve. What's the day-to-day life like? What are you doing for Roots and Shoots? How are the people? What's the food like? I can hardly wait to discover Tanzania through your tales. God bless, Jennifer |
