Your adventure is so much fun for us.
It's true what you say. We shouldn't settle for less than what makes us happy. It's hard and hurtful sometimes, but in the long run, it's for the best. I love reading about your adventures and really hope that I can get to Korea and visit before you return. Miss you. Liz

I think thats great you moved to Korea when you were bored in Austin. Way to think outside of the box...not many people do. Keep persevering!

I'm sure enjoying your journals
I'm almost computer illiterate so it's a wonder I'm even able to read this blog thing but I'm enjoying it immensely. I'll likely never go to Korea but my brother's whole family is Korean and I love them dearly so am truly enjoying all your experiences and the food tastings. I tried bibimbap when my neice ordered it in Tampa and I loved it...now I need to get mom to be brave enough to go try it. My sister in law made a korean pancake from a mix when she was here and added kimchee and fresh chives as well as many other ingredients and they were wonderful...try to find them and tell me how you like them. They were served at room temp. Enjoy your experience...a year will go very quickly.

Great Blog
Wow--it's a newsletter. Even better than GETJEALOUS. I subscribed--not only did I subscribe, I joined because I mistakenly thought that was the way to subscribe. And your blog even shows cheap flights to korea--Trudi will be interested. I'll be watching

it sounds like an exciting trip
Hi Natnya, Thanks for forwarding the blog. I really enjoyed reading about what the life in Korea is like. I think living overseas, truly opens people's eyes to the world, besides America. I've been to 20 countries in 2 summers, and the experience is priceless. Enjoy the time there, and please keep us posted. I love to read about othjer cultures.

Interesting...
I feel like I've had quite a few of the same experiences as you... specifically that I live one building over from you. See you this Sunday for the temple visit
