Guys! It has been a while... We miss you terribly. First of all some good news - We are pregnant! 22 weeks already... Secondly, you are going to be really close to Finike (about 2 hours from Antalya). My mother is currently in Israel but will fly to Turkey soon. Contact us if you want to visit her. She can show around and as you know I am a bit biased but she is very nice and would love to meet you both!

Don't feel bad... - From: Seriously, don't bother going to Agra
It happens to my mom in mexico (yeah, my portugese, scottish mother), who then throws me in front of them going- but my daughter speaks spanish! My mom actually feels guilty about not speaking a language that has nothing to do with her heritage either. You're not alone ;-)

Hi Danny! I agree with your friends. That was a very good conclusion to your China Trip, very spot on I think. It's a wonderful country, not without problems and issues, but a fascinating journey nevertheless. I hope to one day travel all the provinces of China :) It'll be so great!

That's why I like your blog so much: beautiful language, professional pics and reasonable comments. I like the comment you gave to China. That's the true feeling from a "Lao Wai". It should be pubblished in our some native travel magzine. I'm so happy and so lucky to be a little part of it. You are right, there are still a lot more about China you should discover. Hope we could do that together someday. Your words made me proud of my country (sometimes feel shame about her). Being a Chinese, I will do better and show "Lao Wai" a wonderful, developed country.

hey, I just got back from Phuket last yesterday. I forgot how far people will go to rip tourists off. first day there, paid 400baht (~12AUD) for a pair of slippers (negotiated from 550baht). Later i found out i could have gotten it for 100baht. is it the same in China?

Ass-less Chaps!!!! - From: Happy New Year China!!!
OMG...you have to be kidding me!! Who the hell designed that. Must have been one lazy bugger. And l can't believe its actually popular. Thats kinda disturbing don't you think. I hope the dog seller was actually selling those dogs as pets and not food. And l hope those kids washing the dog aren't preparing it for dinner....arghhhhh. Anyway, l'm glad you guys are ok from the fireworks. I wonder how many people get injured from fireworks during the chinese new year. Bahahaha at "Pmua", your right Dan...how can they screw that up...C'MON. Anyway, again thanks for the entertainment. I must admit, ur blog can be a bit shocking at times but it's extremely entertaining to read. Looking forward to your next blog. Lots of love: Rani.

- From: You Wanna Smoka Da Ganja?
Danny, reading your notes really reminded me of the same leg i did a year and half ago. Funnily enough I stayed 24 hours in Dali and left as well... it was the worst day of my trip to the south of China. I can't blame my experiences completely on the city though.. for some reason my partner and I were going through our roughest patch there. The drive up to Lijiang was definitely interesting. I remember sitting among Chickens and ladies who would stare at us for ages (my ex was white, blonde and blue =p .. ) Then we got to this gate which apparently had to charge the foreigners extra money for conservation/protection etc.. but because we were on a local bus, the driver told us that if we give him half the money he would hide us in the 'inconspicuous' part of the minibus - that is, the two of us would crouch in the steps leading to the door. Of course, we took this chance to save some yuan and to have a funny story to tell when we get back.. we got through the foreigner checking gate safely hahaha... now that i think about it.. it could've been somewhere else in Yunnan, I might've remembered wrong.. oh well.. it was worth retelling the story anyway! :) Love your stories!

adoption - From: You Wanna Smoka Da Ganja?
Every time I read your blog Google gives me an ad for "Asian Babies Adoption" and I am troubled by it..... I am loving the blog. How weird about the Frat Boy culture and old lady pushers in this small Chinese town. There has been so much vomit involved in your recent travels - and not even yours! - who would've imagined.....
