mount kinabalu isnt the tallest mountain in s.e asia.... the hkakaborazi in burma is the highest... u better check that out..

Hi Sandra! Thx for your comment! The hurricane has now passed, so except for a bit of wind, rain and a power cut for a few hrs it is all good. We even had karaoke tonight! Not as busy as usual as the med. students are between semesters, but still good to catch up with people! :) Got some pictures on flickr from this years carnival, check it out on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ninapedersen/sets Will pass on your greetings when we meet at the vortex tomorrow at 8am... :)

Hi Sandra! Thx for your comment! The hurricane has now passed, so except for a bit of wind, rain and a power cut for a few hrs it is all good. We even had karaoke tonight! Hey guys, it sounds really great that island and my holidays on another island (Mallorca) seem to have been so boring in comparison (although they were not). I have to go back to the office tomorrow and am rather afraid about it - I am not quite sure whether I can stay until 2010 in this job as planned or whether my appetite for adventure wins over the "i have to earn money to feed myself"-feeling... Your experience with your bags reminded me of my stay in Miami in May - I got assigned a special treatment where you pass a special line and they do a VERY thorough search before you can go on board. My luggage also got searched (thank god the used underwear was on top). And I have also fond memories of PRESIDENTE beer - it just tastes great I think. Have been to Flo & katharinas wedding 3 weeks ago, seen all the old guyes (linde, plüg, olli...) - only meike was on holiday in Greece... Big kisses to the two of you, Lars

Good to see you found a great place to stay in ! As for me, I just passed by London for a weird job interview ("In your opinion, how many golf balls are there in France ?") and some sightseeing. I'm not so enthusiastic about the position, but some days you have to eat. Anyways, I'm already thinking about saving up and go for a RTW trip in a year or two...

We have a beach, but only on low tide... :) I have seen it from the sea and it looks..hmmm... pretty small I guess.. Never the less, it is a beach! Will find a pic and post here :)

Great to see that you discover Karaoke!! It is the best of fun in Asia - just hilarious, especially if you imagine me singing... Once I had people putting their hands on their ears as a reaction :) Caribbean sounds great, so you will earn lots of money from overweight American tourists... Take care, Lars

Hej! Det ser ut som ni har det helt fantastiskt! Unnar er verkligen det, men skulle gärna gjort lite sånt själv också. Har sagt upp mig på Kraft utan nytt jobb, ska gå hos karriärcoach och så får jag ser vad jag ska bli när jag blir stor.
