| 20th March 2008 Nicola2004 | - From: Ramallah + Hebron Thanks Paulo :) Ramallah was truly great and enjoyable but Hebron left a strong, sad impression. Its not a cheerful place at all but rather desillusioning. Made me feel closer to the palestinian people and culture, helped to understand some things differently, a brutal eye opener. I dont regret at all I went but it wasnt particularly "enjoyable" |
| 1st March 2008 Jordanian | Hello :) - From: Petra / Amman / dead sea /mount nebo / jerash/ umm quays Hello.. it's really nice that european people are visiting our country and realising what a great country it is. it has many ruins and beautiful places to see !! and of course the Jordanian people are very generous and welcoming, and very pleasant to be around! and i have to agree with mourad because many arabs are blonde, heck my best friend is blonde with green eyes !! hehe :)... and bedwens are usually thinking of early marriage, but as u have probably realized in Amman and in cities in Jordan it's not the case... we're very open minded, and with high knowlegde and education!! and thanks for all ur kind words :) |
| 1st October 2007 mourad | blonde arabs - From: Petra / Amman / dead sea /mount nebo / jerash/ umm quays well, just wanted to say something about your comment, there's a lot of blonde arabs, especially in algeria and lebanon, and its not that rare to see european looking people in the arab countries....., dont forget romans, greeks, byzantians, vandals, french, brits, and crusaders passed by our part of the world! |

It seems the trip is been more amazing than the last time! Many interesting people and places visited (wow, that ghost town is scary). And you are carrying so many packs!! It is good that an angel doesn't weight ;o) See you, sister. Let Jehovah bless you. Claudia sent you her christian love. You are always in our prayers. Hugs. |

Take so many pictures and talk to all the intersting people you find, specially our brothers from Middle East. Let Jehovah be with you in this adventure where you will appreciate his creation and the places where many of profecies were written and some biblical events were developed. | 1st November 2006 Elisheva | Jewish Homeland - From: Jerusalem & Palestine Dear Nicola: Please reconsider your position. You have had a good visit to the 3000+ year old Jewish homeland, the few square miles which G-d gave to the Jewish people. That said, we have happily shared it with anyone who has wanted to be there. so long as they do not try to kill us. Is this not reasonable? The claims to "palestinian" homeland are false. Few of the Arabs are more then a generation there. We have been there continuously. The Arab goal is merely to be rid of us - G-d forbid. In fact, most of the Arabs and Muslims who have lived in Israel actually owe their lives and education to the Jewish people. Wherever we have put in settlements, everyone near us gets clean water, a free education and free medical treatment. The infant mortality of Arabs living near Jews is less then that of the rest of the Arabs world wide. They should not hate us, but they are taught to do so. Best to you, Elisheva from Ohio |

| 28th August 2005 Paulo | With you in the biblical lands :o) - From: Petra / Amman / dead sea /mount nebo / jerash/ umm quays Hi, my dear friend >:D< I am so happy that you are enjoying each moment of your journey!!! Knowing the biblical lands must be very amazing. Your description of the places and the people there makes my mind "travel". I used to pray asking for you to come back soon so that I could hear about the entire trip, but it sounded a little egoistic. So I changed my prayers to ask for Jehovah to look for you while we can't talk, and that HE protect you during your "pilgrimage" in the "holy land". I am following each step you make and rejoycing with you in each good moment. Let Jehovah bless you. Fly fly. :D |

| 22nd August 2005 Levi | Elite movements my sista! - From: climbing gebel musa (mt sinai) Hey Nicola! Im really glad you enjoyed Dahab, i actually did the blue lagoon dive to 40 metres, its an amazing dive you go through a tunnel then you emerge at approximatly 40 metres, its a real rush going straight down through the tunnel. Something that you may not have noticed is that there a RIP memorials all along the rock face for dead divers, its one of the only locations in the world where they can train you top be a commercial diver, ie to 100 metres. Every now and then you get some fool who thinks they can make the distance on a single tank and they die down there and hence the memorials. I have to say when me and kia where there is was in winter and believe it or not i walked all the way up the mountain, kia took camel. Though it was exhausting. At the top there was snow. Snow in the middle of the desert, crazy huh ? i have photos of it so no one can doubt me. Though in winter it was freezing up there. You have to visit the canyons it shouldnt cost you above 120 pounds, its a full day thing and should include lunch. Rock on girl rock on! |
