You can never be too paranoid That "hat" is really to stop them scanning your brain, right Nick? I've seen the photos - you and the aluminium foil helmets - I know the truth...

Obscure way to pass on the news?? Brilliant trek through Bolivian mountains and jungles! Some awesome photos, can't wait to check it out first hand. But did I miss something? Is it /really/ just in the photo comments that you obscurely pass on the news of your engagement to the masses? :)
So mysterious, oh great Drugged Packhorse... ;)
Thanks guys - you helped me convince Dave Great work guys - I too want to hike at least the 'W' and Dave was dragging his heels - until I made him read your post! November can't come quick enough!
Getting excited reading your blog gets me more excited than getting married - I can't waitt o try this in Rio when I get there in Feb 09 - for carnival! See you 2 in Vancouver

doin' it all for free great blog entry. i'm glad you liked chiloé. just as a sidenote (you may already know this) every single firefighter in the entire country of chile works on a volunteer basis. i think it's the only country that does this. i don't exactly know how they're funded (there's something for you to investigate) but the firefighters themselves all work for free and are very well respected in chile. cheers!
Great success!! Awesome work, making it through the whole 9 day trek in what looks to be a stunning part of the world. To strike a contrast while you're keeping warm in some icy places, we recently went through a record heatwave here in Adelaide - officially the hottest spell for any capital in Australia (15 consecutive days over 35C). Enjoy the glaciers! ;)
You are too kind Roi Hey Roi! Nice to hear from you. Thanks very much for your kind comments. All the best with the paralife project!
love Nick and Rin
welcome to Rio - enjoy Hi Rinski and Nick, good to hear that you are in Brazil and enjoying it - I wouldn't worry about the feeling of having nothing to do, that is what a holiday is all about, besides it gives you time to absorb the atmosphere of the place - and where better to do this than in Rio? We look forward to more blogs, regards Ross and Bev
