Austria.Salzburg. A very beautiful city, and very good beer, but without much of the downhome-iness of italy, and so the things are expensive...internet goes for around 2 euro for ten minutes!!!! but this is in the center of the city, where they really whack the tourists...with whiffle bats. they have leiderhosen on display, but noone wears it unless you pay them. and things are on time! amazingly enough, but the food isn't as incredible as italy, but that's like saying ohio isn't as beautiful as montana...regardless. all is well, save for a knuckle busting of my hands from a sledding inci [View Full Entry]

Ok...first entry in this thing...not going to say much but i wanted to post a few pictures. This place is unbelievable. The few pictures here are just a select few that will give everyone some sense of the incredible splendor that is Venezia. Apparently, they built the place up from grit and stone then pounded it down...built foundations and built the incredible churches and piazzas onto it. nucking futs. anyways. sorry to dissapoint with the lack of explanation but trying to type the sentiment [View Full Entry]

The best salami and prosciuto i have ever had.
Well...New Year's Eve was great...the food was the center piece for the italians...we (Luca, I, and 6 of his friends) went to the grocery store for a couple hours of some crazy shopping...managed to break a bottle of wine and get the food we set out for in under 3 hours. We then started preparing everything for the next...mmm 6 or 7 hours. They let me slice and dice, but that's all. The food...incredible, the wine...incredible and plentiful (i counted 16 empty bottles and then forgot what I was doing), and the people were hilarious. Y'know that song that goes 'Heyyyy [View Full Entry]

This is Giancarlo {left} and Luca {right}. They showed me around Milan. Giancarlo is tired...Luca is swearing into his phone. Just a normal day for normal italians.
I went to Milan, Milano for the italians, with my friend Luca and one of his friends, Giancarlo. After a crazy drive into Milan, we spent the day seeing the sites...umm..we saw the duomo, and we walked by the church that holds the last supper. Oh, and we went to a very chic and cool shopping district that only a handful of tourist know about, compared with the kabillion people in the piazza of the duomo. For those who don't know, the word piazza means square, as in town-square, to us Americans in the live-studio audience. We then returned to Torino. [View Full Entry]
