Sorry that I haven't written in several days, we don't have the internet in Les Plateaux. Québec City was amazing as usual, Joannie took me to the University and we watched a silent film on the history of Québec from the downtown, the film was shot over an 8 story building around 200 meters across, I've never seen anything like it. After Québec City I took the bus to Chicoutimi where I hitchhiked to L'Anse St.Jean. It was worth all the work for sure. Just sitting at the Auberge in Québec, Joannie should be here in just a few minutes. The airport is always an interesting place: random frisks, Mormons sitting next to you hoping to gain a new convert etc. All in all everything went just fine. I brought out a Cuban cigar last night and it"s amazing how quickly you make friends with one of those. I sat around with 3 Americans, a Brit and an Aussie for beer and cigar until around 12:00. The flight to Quebec City leaves on September 3rd at about 10:00 am. I'll be staying at an ecohamlet near the town of L'Anse St.Jean and possibly another ecovillage south of Quebec City called Mont Radar.
