Saigon to Bangkok Hello all, from Bangkok! Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh Wow, a lot has happened since I last blogged...I will try to sum everything up as best as I can though :) Vietnam has been a real experience so far and I'm really enjoying it. To Vietnam Xin Chao from Vietnam! I am now in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It's a very nice city. Just as crazy as I expected, but not too crazy to handle, and many steps down from Manila on the craziness scale. On my way to this country, I traveled via Hong Kong, and Singapore (geographically this doesn't make sense at all, but such is life when you want the cheapest flights!). To Boracay Hello all! Toady I am writing from Boracay Island - it's a little touristy island just south of the Romblon Province, and it is absolutely gorgeous! A very nice change from the polluted and congested Manila, especially since I've got a thing for islands and beaches. The remainder of my time in Manila was spent slowly working on building the library cabinet for the community I mentioned in my last blog. Back to Manila Magandang Umaga po! So here I am, already into Week 3 of my Philippines Adventure. Time has just FLOWN by, I can't believe I'm nearing the end of my project already. As always, I am having a great time and am experiencing new things every day. 34 Hour Trip to Manila Hello from the Philippines! So here I am. After approximately 34 hours of traveling, and a few more waking hours after that, I made it all the way to the other side of the world. There was lots of confusion navigating foreign airports (except Hong Kong, it's the most well organized and pretty looking airport I've ever been to!), but nothing has been more confusing yet than Manila itself.
