Chickens & Buses - From: Float On
So tell me, when you get on a chicken bus, who has priority - you or the chickens? Is it their bus & they just let you ride with them if there is room? And who drives? Very interesting to think about . . . Take care, and continue to have fun!! Love Mom

Bugs & Ruins - From: Three Little Birds
This trip is sure the full deal meal isn't it?! You get to see what the past culture was like, what the current culture is like, the elite, the poor, the educated, the uneducated, what happens when you get sick and hopefully the other side when you get well again . . . I didn't realize you were such the workaholic! Quit experimenting with the bugs okay and leave that for when you get back to work?!. . . Do get healthy again. Love ya . . . Mother

Thailand in June - From: Adventures of Lorelei in Laos and Thailand
Hello Lucy! Very cool that you are considering traveling to Thailand next year. I found it to be a bit rainy this June - I suppose it is rainy season. It did rain most days, but I wasn't particularily bothered by it - it's a nice break from the heat! Although the islands might be a bit nicer during sunny weather...Just make sure you bring an umbrella with you at all times, cuz the rain comes on very quickly, and when it rains, it pours!

Its nice to see again my country - From: Mabuhay to Paradise
Well thanks for visiting the Philippines and Boracay in particular. Looking at your photos you did enjoy your stay. I was born just few islands from the back of Boracay, the name is Sibuyan Island. From Sibuyan, it takes 4-5 hrs by boat to reach Boracay. Hope you will find the Philippines a place where you want to spend your summer again with the Karaoke! Rey

Memories - From: Bye-Bye Ma-Baybay
Hi Lorelei! Wonderful pics! Brings back memories of my travels in Asia some 17 odd years ago. Do they have pomelos (my favourite asian fruit!)? I am glad you are aclimatizing to the weather - much different than dry Alberta! The poverty is unimaginable to most in North America. I spent time in a clinic in the midst of a garbage dump in Bangkok. Unreal.I am enjoying your blog - thanks for keeping it up! Take care! Cathy
