While Mark is busy doing Spanish homework, I will take the opportunity to send a new update. We took a week off from Spanish lessons to tour the country when Kendra came to visit for a week with her boyfriend Scott. We picked them up at the San Jose/Cabo San Lucas airport and stayed for the night to tour the area. The next day, we took a trip out to see the Sea Lions and the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas. It was a great trip- the arch is pretty spectacular, and you can actually see two different bodies of water at one point- the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. Here we are in La Paz , Mexico. WE arrived here via cruise ship, on the Celbrity Mercury- coming thru the Panama Canal. It was a great trip, lasting 12 days. We disembarked the ship 2 days early in order to come here to La Paz. The house we've rented is quite nice- much smaller than we had expected, but it' s just fine for us! Especially us boaters! ALl of the rooms exit to a courtyard, and the only connected rooms are the master bedroom and the bathroom. You have to go outside to get to any of the others. THe days are beautiful- sunny and warm, but not too warm. Thenights are cool- perfect for sleeping- but you need a sweater to go outside. The boardwalk here is amazing- you better start practicing your ... read more
