Wow.... what amazed me is your true dedication to writing the travel log despite having a broken arm! That deserves a blue peter badge alone. I'm in London now as you must be soon - in town between 15th and 18th July if you're about call me = 07834520041

Well Neil. I still have the video where you did a great rendition to Madonna!!! So hopefully this cast hasn't put a stop to your moves!!! Sounds like you guys are having loads of fun and memories to last you a life time. So when do you get back? x

Vietnam - From: Vietnam - Stepping up the Pace
Really pleased you made it to Vietnam which is still my favourite country in SE Asia. Amazing that you still found Vietnam cheap given it is suffering 25% inflation. Get in contact when you arrive in London..... which won't be long.

Hi - From: Thailand Revisited
Just a brief note from scorching Manchester - too hot to type so don't know how you manage in all these exotic tropical locations. All looks fab and look forward to long post holiday de-briefs (ooh err missus) in Tory London whenever that may be! Love and hugs, J & C x Ps Hope you set your recorder before leaving, otherwise you're missing some cracking episodes of Time Team.

Big in Japan - From: Turning Japanese
Title relates to nothing but the song by Alphaville, before you start wondering.... is Japan really that serene? Your photos make it all look so beautifully calm and clean. Definately makes me want to put Japan o the list.

Fabulous tales and pictures (but thank goodness for the Advertisement Regulations here in the UK) - couldn't pick u two out though in the boxing ring. Pleased you're still having wonderful time. Lots of love, J & C x (Ps Mr Newman, it's so NOT sad to be making college models at strange times of the night - I know, Mary de Kersal-Moor x)

- From: On the rice trail
We've just caught up with a vast chunk of your amazing experiences -- from the Punjab to the rice terraces. The photographs and the writing really bring it to life fabulously. We can't wait to tease more out of you when you're back and we're all chatting -- whenever that might be. And (perhaps) tasting Neil's new culinary skills (what a life-changer, eh?). The earthquake casts a grim shadow over the last part of your journey so far and we're hoping you were only affected emotionally/at a distance. Where were you heading next? Saving making Sydney Bridge model for a summer-time treat. Notice there are no photos of your own ongoing multi-model building projects -- winter palace made of water lily leaves; hot-bamboo-torture-cup Great Wall,' chopstick Forbidden City, etc -- but we expect you're too modest. Lots of love. PS More streetscape scenes and street furniture photos, please, for use in MA project work - bins in Candy-Ha would have been particularly useful.

India One - From: Crazy India
Hi Boys Looks an interesting place to be, and it must be such a shock after Sydney. I am still adjusting to being back here. Today I've opened the curtains to brilliant sunshine and flurries of snow. It's Good Friday so chance to catch up a bit and not work (I'm really struggling at the moment, and thinking that a month off work was just not long enough! :) ) Did you get to see the film 'The Darjeeling Limited' by any chance on the plane to India, just wondered if your train journey was anything like that? Anyway take care. JP

Where were your frocks and feathers? - From: Jason and Neil's Aussie Outback Adventure
Beautiful landscapes but where was the accompanying sound track? So much space - seems a bit of a waste really. Where are all the bungalows and swimming pools of Ramsey Street? Glad you're still doing such amazing things to keep us entertained - not even the Great Fire of Camden Market can compete with the temperatures you are describing (we're all excited at having reached 10 degrees in the light). We were in London last weekend and were thinking of you and reminiscing about the weekend get together before you headed off on your explorations/exploits. Ta ta 4 now, love, John and Chris x

We're following your every move. Just because we haven't got anything exciting to say doesn't mean we aren't excited by your stories and pix; buying 5lbs of potatoes and some cut-price swimwear in the drizzle and in the Arndale Centre this afternoon has just taken it out of us though. Continue to have fun for us, and doing all that dangerous exercise, & we look forward to the next instalment. XXX

Memories - From: Aqua adventures
Hi Both What memories you are invoking for me being at Iguazu. Interesting to see the boat from the brazilian side. So which side did you think the falls were most spectacular from? I reckoned the Brazilian... but the Argentinians did insist that their side was the most spectacular. Whatever side they are absolutely amazing anyway, and I thought they'd never be able to top Niagara! JPx

"What can I say" - From: Bolivia
Well chaps... that’s an absolutely fantastic amount of effort you've put in to making south sea beach look like your somewhere nice... good job, never fooled me for a second... lol. Seriously, it definitely looks like you’re both having a fab time. I just wish we had one of those market stalls around here. Hope you are both well (picked up any unfortunate, unwanted stomach bugs yet... lol). Hi to the rest of the family, apologies for not to send for birthday cards etc. You’re not forgotten, honest. Well Jason, Neil... hope you continue to have a great time on your trek across the universe. All our love Graham & Sharon xxx

Wow looks amazing,. Has certainly brightened up this tedious work business here in Birmingham. Very much reminds me of the trek I did to Nepal, with porters etc. Did they mow the grass for you especially or is there a team of Alpacas hidden behind the walls somewhere? Always look forward to receiving your travel blogs. Will email soon. JPx

It's lovely to receive your up-to-date news but I'm getting very concerned about your eating habits. Guinea pigs, alpacas, what next? I'll be sure to lock the dogs away when you come to visit next. Finally we have your blog link! Hope that you are having fun, reading through it sounds like you are. I upset Stu's neice because of you guys, she has (had) a guiniea pig and didn't take kindly to me coating it in batter and deep frying it - Feet and Head still attached of course - Well I wanted to share in your experience! (your right it doesn't taste like chicken!!!). Joking apart, we really are envious and to see whales up close like that must have been an experience of a life time - We wonder how you will quantify it all when you finally return. Looking forward to reading more about your travels. Lots of love TA & Stu x x (And Jake of course!)

Not jealous either - absolutely not. - From: Walking the line in Quito
We're really pleased all is going well. Wish we could say we'd seen all those sights - but the only one we have vaguely in common is the 10 tonnes of flesh (-bears in Legends last weekend). Chris wants to know if they do the guinea pig in quorn or not. And how's the Spanish (and the Quechua and so on) going? Keep the urban townscape photos coming as John has started his Urban Design course and needs material for a project (he'll be sending you a questionnaire on 'Urban Form and the Quality of the Public Realm' to pass out to locals). So when's the next blog due to brighten up our hum drum lives? Carry on enjoying yourselves and soon you really will be 25 (or so). Take care, lots of love, John & Chris xxxxx
