Day 1: Nairobi -Shaba
Depart Nairobi in the morning heading north via the shoulder of Africa's second largest mountain, Mt Kenya to the rugged landscape of Shaba National Reserve, where Joy Adamson experimented with the release of hand-reared leopards. After lunch at the lodge enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge (Full Board).

Day 2: Shaba
Day spent game viewing in the Reserve appreciating the diverse landscape and variety of animal species. Samburu is part of a lava plain that includes a diverse landscape of thorn scrub, red dirt, dried river beds, broken volcanic rock, steep hills, and rocky outcroppings. The region is home to the uncommon Grevy’s zebra with huge fury ears, gerenuk antelope standing on hind legs to feed, Somali ostriches with distinct blue legs and the shy Oryx. Elephant and crocodile are guaranteed sightings, excellent bird watching with numerous varieties of weaverbirds and the martial eagle. Leopard sighting is also a special feature here. Dinner & Overnight at Sarova Shaba (Full Board).

Day 3 & 4: Shaba – Losai Game Reserve
Depart Shaba to Losai National Game Reserve which is a semi-desert landscape characterized by rocky hills, plains and river woodlands which snake along the seasonal rivers. The scenic beauty is breathtaking; game to view includes elephant, Greater and Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and Grants Gazelle. It is accessible at present during the dry season in four wheel-drive vehicles. The fauna is similar to that of the drier areas of the Marsabit reserve. Dinner & Overnight Camping (Full Board).

Day 5 - 7: Losai – Marsabit
After breakfast head to Marsabit National park, famous for its densely forested mountain and three crater lakes that are only permanent surface of water in the region. Major wildlife attractions include the African elephant, the endangered Grevy’s zebra, lion, leopard, buffalo, bushbuck, large herds of greater and lesser kudus, common zebra, grant's gazelles and many other small antelopes. Dinner & Overnight at Marsabit Lodge (Full Board).

Day 8: Marsabit – Kalacha
Visit Marsabit town and another volcanic crater before making your way back into the desert and lava flows. Camp at Kalacha, a small Gabbra settlement on the edge of the Chalbi Desert. The Gabbra are an Eastern Cushitic people related to the Somali-Rendille in their historical origins in the southern Ethiopian highlands. They are pastoralists, particularly attached to their camels. You will have opportunity to ride Camel interacting with Gabbra and Rendille at extra cost.

Day 9 - 12: Kalacha – Kulal
Depart Kalacha after breakfast through the Chalbi desert via Kargi then Kaisut desert arriving late afternoon at Mt. Kulal . From the top you can see the Jade Sea and spectacular view of the desert, There are various optional activities like Forest walk, Donkey and Camel walk interacting with community and learning their cultural practices. Overnight Camping, (Full Board).

Day 13: Kulal – Wamba
Drive to Wamba arriving late in the evening where you can interact with local Samburu as the Sun goes down. Overnight Camping (Full Board).

Day 14: Wamba - Lake Baringo
Leave Wamba arriving in this fresh water lake in the late afternoon, enjoy an evening boat ride in search of hippo, crocodile, fish eagle and a variety of other birds. Lake Baringo is the most Northerly of Kenya’s small Rift Valley lakes; creased with papyrus and well developed acacia forest. Hippos, crocodiles and monitor lizards are effortlessly seen from the shore, as is a magnificent display of water birds. This is Kenya's bird watching centre with over 1200 different species native to the country and more than 450 sighted here. A bird watcher's haven but beware, this is malaria land so it’s best to come prepared with plenty of mosquito repellent! Overnight at Lake Baringo Country Club (Full Board).

Day 15 – 16: Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria
Leave Lake Baringo to the nearby Lake Bogoria visit an area of bubbling hot springs and steaming geysers, and admire the pink swathes of flamingos on the soda lake. In a good day you will be able to view Kudus, Antelopes, and Giraffes. Overnight Camping (Full Board).

Day 17: Lake Bogoria - Nairobi
After breakfast proceed to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon to catch up with your onward return flight.
