Just remember...
...I sit in a cubicle for 10 hours every day. Sometimes longer. Glad things are well, koff. Glad things are well.

Hey Nate!
Hey Nate -- still sounds like everything is going great. I do agree with your Aunt Liz to tell us more about your classes -- homework, ages of students, numbers of students, how is your classroom set up, do they give you training, etc., etc., etc. We've been spoiled here with our weather - but its supposed to be changing soon. When the leaves turn colors do you want me to press some and send them to you, not sure that is something you could use (or want) there. Love the blogs, keep them coming -- very entertaining!! Love, Aunt Chris

I have a real helmet in the mail to you, (just kidding)! I'm not sure your Mom and Dad can keep your vivid descriptions of travel on a motor bike out of their heads though! Scary but hilarious! Hope all of your classes don't wear you out too much. Keep your blogs coming, you're "mundane" is still quite exciting for the rest of us. Love, Ann

School Daze
Hi Nate, I am enjoying your blog. Thanks for sticking with it...it's one of the great vicarious thrills in my life right now! I would love to know more about your classes. What materials do you use to teach (besides stickers)? Can you see your students improving? Do they have to learn how to write? Do they take tests? Homework? Do you get any training as a teacher? Does the academy evaluate your teaching skills too? Keep the stories coming. Maybe they sound normal to you, but it all looks exotic to me. Aunt Liz

Ok...
Well it is obvious that you are having a wonderful time in China - just wanted you to know how much we appreciate the updates. I am living vicariously through your words and pictures - so keep writing ... and I will do my part ... worry (less). Love, Mom

I feel your pain
Ha ha, hilarious! The last American I saw put on the spot to sing chucked out a couple of lines of "you are the sunshine of my life". I think Twinkle Twinkle is a WAY better choice! You have my sympathies - I would be waiting for the earth to swallow me up in that situation, you did good! People not in China cannot imagine how unnerving and yet at the same time liberating it is to be the only Westerner throwing caution to the wind and allowing themselves to be humiliated. Its a humbling yet invigorating experience! ps Bless your heart for buying all the wish flowers!

Nate, I laughed so hard over your adventures, I had tears in my eyes. I mean really, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star??!!!! The image of you in distress singing that is priceless, not to mention "meet and greet" in your dripping wet underwear! No one can accuse you of not making an impression. Stay safe, Love, Ann

I havn't gotten the package just yet, from what i've heard sometimes the post office here can screw things up from time to time, I'm sure it will make it, just a matter of time.

Helllllooooo Nate!
Hi Nate - Sounds like your adventures are still going strong. Can't wait to see the pictures when you go to the ancient city. Hopefully you did get the envelope with stickers - let me know if those are the kinds you want. Don't get too Chinese on us - although I'm sure many of their customs and "ways" will become natural to you. Take care and be careful! Love, Aunt Chris Sr.

I love it
Nathan, Still amazed at your letters and pictures. I guess if you're hungry enough you'll eat anything. As long as it isn't raw. What's the phonetic sound for the two words you sign at the end? And the translation? Enjoy every minute. It's an adventure you'll never forget. I can just picture your students. I bet they love you. Thanks and love, Grandma

Wonderful reading
Dear Nathan: Tom up-dated my computer so I finally was able to read all your newsy letters and marvel at the wonderful pictures you've taken. What an adventure! I loved reading every word. Consider me a fan. I will see Rita and Jim, Bill and Dorothy, Liz and Craig, Lyn and Drew this weekend at Ben Bruning's wedding. Should be fun. I can't wait to read your next installment. Love, Grandma

So glad to get an update on your activities. I think a Koffel billboard would be awesome, after all there is already a Koffel mountain! The spiders you can definitely keep, I'd have nightmares for weeks about them following me home. Ask Michele, Emily and your Mom about our "in-house" bat adventures this past weekend. That's about the most adventurous I can get. Love, Aunt Ann

Joe said that he can imagine your mug suspended in the air on a giant bilboard and is quite excited at the prospect. He wants you to take a picture to include in your resume. Those spiders are rediculous, it reminds me of the size of the insects on the Dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom. We leave Friday for the trip and will miss having you around. Enjoying the posts.

Spiders
A spider like that falling on me would have been the end of me. You are very brave....and quite funny and witty too! Love reading all of your stories. Thanks for sharing. Love, Aunt Lyn

...of spiders and old eggs...
Okay Nate... Spiders that are nearly the size of CELL PHONES! That's just gross! And I don't know if I'm buying the "thousand year old egg" thing... I mean, how would anyone KNOW the eggs were that old... unless, of course, there are 1100 year old people! :-) (I'm afraid to ask...) [As always, great update. Keep em' comin' please]
