International Shuffleboard Tournament Arnold played in the International Shuffleboard Tournament held at Hohenroda, about a 2-hour drive from Frankfurt. There were teams there from Germany, Japan, USA, Belgium, Brazil, Canada. It was held on Aug 2 - 6 in a very large hotel in Hohenroda. You could access the scores on the internet by going to www.theshuffleboarder.de Arnold played for the German team as he was born in Germany and so had permission to do so. It was a great experience to meet players from all over the world - everyone so friendly and helpful in spite of the language barriers. Also the food was out of this world!!! No place for a dieter! This was also a visiting time for us as Arnold has 3 sisters living in Germany, all of whom are wonderful cooks! ... read more
