Hello all, After spending a week in Dundee with our family we headed down to Newcastle, I dont think I have been sober since. We decided to stay on with Sharon and try and find jobs so I can actually get back to Canada and Pamela will be ok in London. Hello all, we booked a hotel through Ryan air which was supposed to be near Venice and all the sights but it turned out to be miles away it was 4 star though and really cheap, me and Pin Pin booked it online in the last hostel. We stayed there for a night and we couldnt get into Venice because it was too far away which was bad for Pin Pin as she was leaving the next day. Hello, it was a lot colder up here than Rome so we had to go shopping for warmer clothes and get rid of some of our summer stuff. We had a day trip to Sienna and went to the market there and got some really good bargains. We lost Pin Pin as she loves to shop and was in there for hours so me and Pamela went to look at the Cathedral. Hello all, Havent had a chance to write anything as we have been really busy. Arrived in Rome safely but without my luggage which stayed in Athens got it back eventually though so ok. Angela was already at the hotel which was really nice and close to the metro station, and then Pin Pin arrived the next day. There is so much to see in Rome and it is such a great city with loads of life and great pizza's, people, alcohol etc, we went to the Vatican and the Sistine chapel which is huge and takes a couple of hours, [View Full Entry]

Greetings, Arrived safely but tired, the ferry from Santorini was fine and we sunbathed on the deck. The train was a bit different though and had a bit of a time trying to get a ticket, and then got shouted at a few times by passengers and conductors on the train because we are a bit dim and should have really learnt some Greek. Our hotel is erm... cheap and I am sure there is blood in the corner of the room but it is just for sleeping and storing our bloody backpacks. Great shops here but no money so we [View Full Entry]

Hello, made it to Santorini and it is really beautiful here, the beaches have black sand and the sea is dark blue. We found someone at the port that had a room in Perissa (where the beaches are) and it was huge it could of fit 4 people and I had a double bed for only 25 euros a night for two people. The owners were also really nice and helpful. Hello all, well we finally made it to Ios and the place we are staying (Francescos) is nice and the people are really friendly and helpful. Had a welcome shot at the bar at 10pm then headed out to the Orange bar (which played Indie and rock music) got very drunk and had a good time, the people who owned the Pub were really nice (a brit lady and and a Greek bloke)and got some free malteser shots and they even walked us home so we were ok! Left for Ios on Saturday morning and arrived about 4pm and found that no-body was waiting for us like we had arranged so jumped on the bus to take us into the village where our hostel was supposed to be. Got into the village and wandered around for a while and found the tourist information centre where we asked where our accomodation was, she had never heard of it so I used my mobile to call the place (Francescos) and she was surprised that we hadnt been picked up from the ferry as the driver is always there to meet the [View Full Entry]

Hey up all, We are relaxing in beautiful Paros until the 17th then we move on to Ios next which is a party island, it is pretty quiet here but nice and loads of good beaches. Me and Pamela have named ourselves the Albino twins (or the pasty's) as we are the palest people here and we are scaring some of the local children. Since we are the only pasty's here everyone thinks we are twins. Spent a lot of time lying around on different beaches along the coast, the best one so far is called golden beach.
