impressed
neil i am beyond impressed with your blog entry. i just did rees-dart in 5 days (one day up the saddle though, amazing view). but that aside, i could never have done it in 2 days. i am beyond impressed at the moment and dont think any of your friends are really going to realise what all that means. so i think i should describe that i am reading your blog entry with my mouth hanging open, completely gobsmacked and tired as hell even though i just did what you did in double the time. your a real champ!!!

inspirational blo
I read these before I go to work and even though the Highlands (where I live) are doing pretty well, with blue skies and snow everywhere today - the blog makes me want to chuck it all up and going off travelling!

So sorry you didn't make it
You must have been gutted - if it's any consolation your account was really interesting. Is there any photographic evidence of you in the unfeasibly large orange down jacket or did the fashion police delete all evidence?

spectacled bears etc
Funny, I thought they wore contact lenses. You don't know what you are missing in London, old bean. Rain and damp: but tomorrow's Friday, and that means... And it is the silly season in London. We don't have bears, but there are numerous other animals wandering around on all fours by 6pm most days now. Hope all is well.
