to Tommy - From: I'm coming back.......Tommy
Tommy, Thank you for your moving message....I think you will do great things in your lifetime ahead...and I hope you can return to Tanzania someday to help those in need. If it isn't Tanzania, there are many places/opportunities to make a difference. And, it won't matter when that time comes....may be while you are a young adult and the opportunity may not come for many years. Jim Lumberg was a father of two, successful businessman when he hiked with Teacher and made a promise to help the School....Your time will come! Patty

to Ben - From: Tanzanian Economy - Ben
Ben, Oh, how I would have loved seeing those animals. Animals in the wild are exquisite....saw a grizzly and cub today while in Yellowstone...and lots of Bison. Hope you guys took some photos of the animals to share. Have experienced hawkers in northern Africa, Morocco....some were as young as 7! Enjoy the remainder of your trip....without me! Patty

to Cindy - From: Reflections - Cindy
Cindy, You are so very fortunate to have this experience just before you launch yourself out into the world as an adult. Whether you ever get back to Moshi and the school, you will no doubt take your experience/memories and contribute someplace sometime in the future....and maybe it will be back in Africa. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am enjoying all the notes....and wish I could be there with you guys. Patty

to Amanda - From: School of St. Jude - Amanda
Did we learn about St. Jude's during Interim? For some reason, your description sounds familiar....is that where Sarah Mills volunteered? Can't wait to see photos that you guys take...and I know you cannot film everyone you see out of courtesy for their privacy. Enjoy the remainder of your time in Tanzania. Patty

Danny, Enjoyed reading about your little buddy, Calvin. Sounds as if you made a big impact on him....and vice versa. I imagine you will each 'remember' each other's face forever. Wish I were with you guys! Went to Yellowstone this weekend....still a little wintry there....saw a grizzly and yearling today....they were beautiful! Patty

the gift of teaching - From: Day three in Africa - Annsley
Annsley, I enjoyed reading your entry for the third day. I especially enjoyed how much you loved teaching the children....great feeling! Some people take naturally to teaching....don't overlook it as a possible future path. Each day of my 36 year teaching career was a pleasure and a challenge! I continue to miss it. And, I am so very envious of your experience in Moshi. Looking forward to your next entry. Patty
