10 years and counting Hard to believe you've been full timers for 10 years!!! You have gotten fantastic use from that retirement gift camera. Oh, I'm thinking now that you're probably on your fifth camera. The text and photos are always a treat to view and thinking of you as we celebrate our 100th anniversary of state parks. You may remember my friend Bill Scheufler that served a short stint in Buyline...he just retired as and IRS revenue agents. Within the week he and a friend took off for a two-week+ tour with trailered motorcycles to MT [stayed with a friend] and went solo on his bike to Canadian Rockies, rafted along the way and took in as many parks as possible. I thought of you guys in all your travels. Stay well. Diane

Life Elevated looks wonderful! Great picture of you Karen! Once again, your pictures are wonderful! So awful to see the burned trees in the North Rim. Lightning always does so much damage. I used to see it in the mountains when I was a kid and had nightmares that the fire would come down and engulf the city. Little Charlotte looks like she just loves rolling in the grass. So happy to hear that Tom is doing good and is ok at 6,200 feet. Thanks for the update on your travels. May God Bless!!!
So nice to hear from you. Hi Karen and Tom. It was so nice to hear from you. Sorry the houseboat didn't work out and sure hope you enjoy the grand canyon. We loved seeing the south rim many years ago but have never been to the north rim. You'll have to tell us all about it next time we get together. Please take care and hopefully we'll be able to come down this winter and maybe get together. Nan~
Beautiful Pictures Glad to hear you are both well and THANKS for sharing the beautiful pictures. The Payette River as well as Lake Powell are so beautiful with the mountains in the background. Mountains, a rig and switchbacks sound pretty scary to me. Please be careful!!! Charlotte looks like she is enjoying too!
Happy Trails Good to get your update...we loved the northern rim of the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff...but that was a few years ago. Sorry to tell you that my mom, Katie, died in May. She is whole again and that makes me thankful. Sorry to hear about Tom's lung problem and hope for a helpful treatment.
Travels Thanks for posting your travel information and the lovely pictures. Bears that close, oh my! Lake Powell looks beautiful. Glad you did not encounter the fires out west. Safe Travels!

And now you are lot owners in Arizona!!! So glad that Tom is doing better and now able to use the fitness center. TAKE CARE!!!

Rev. Larry Kline Thank you friend for informing me of Rev. Kline's passing. He was my pastor and friend during the years I was raising my daughter. Prayers to Jeannette and their family.
Beautiful Those pictures are really beautiful...wow Karen,is that the same camera that we gifted you at your retirement dinner? If so...it is great and you have done a wonderful job showing the beauty of our west coast...
Camera I was doing so well with my retirement gift that Tom got me a new one for my birthday. The CTNA camera is outstanding for close-ups, like the dates, or flowers. The new one is great for animals moving, like a moose. I haven't seen a moose yet!
We became full-time RV'ers when I retired March 1, 2006. We started on the East coast of the U.S. and arrived on the West coast in 2009. We are traveling the U.S. to sights we've never seen before! Adventure-bound to National Parks. and beaches with stop-offs to visit friends and family. ... full info
