Kualar Lumpur is the place to be after long trecks in Cameron Highlands and Tamen Negara to kick a chill and settle into our room for a few days! We were all looking 4ward to getting out of the bug ridden beds and saying goodbye to the pesky leaches! We set of Early Morning on a public bus that would only take around 4 hours for only 3-4 pounds! The bus was actually a fairly nice one (for a change). So with abit of shut eye and not to mention getting stuck into caz's book he let me borrow. Pretty good so far! So without any signs or the overpowering body odoured bus driver having to tell us that we'v arrived at Kualar Lumpur we already new. We got our 1st Glimpse of the Petronas Twin ... read more

After a fairly long bus & train journey from the Cameron Highlands, we arrived at Taman Negara Rain Forest! Our main objective was to find a hostle and fast. the rain was BUCKETING it down and we werent really up for trecking about the town with our bags on in the rain... We all checked out a hostle that was 1.30GBP A NIGHT. this suited us just fine being on a budget and all. but Lisa and Diana were put of very much so by the bathrooms! which we thought were quite nice lol. So they ventured out in the rain and found a hostle for the same price as ours but it had internet, nicer bed, hot water and air con. all of which our hostle didnt have!!! That evening we set out with a ... read more

We left early from Georgetown, catching the free ferry to the mainland to catch our bus from Butterworth. We were lucky enough to see a pretty FIT sunrise as we crossed the waters! There was a slight wait untill our bus left so me + Muc filled up on some lovely "grotty roti" for breakfast. and let caz look after the bags for short while. The little Indian diner had possibly some of the worst hygine conditions ever and i dair say the British Health & Hygene office would have a field day! We braved it and battled on through even if it did look like a certain stain on a certain piece of cloth.................... Catching the bus, however the suspension was kind of hanging of so we went thru some pretty hard times. We stopped ... read more

Like Rick has Mentioned, we both went and did our anual crazy hair change (no fear) and this was the biggest change of them all. dredlocks were big but they could come out. We both decided to go and shave our heads much like what Nick and I did to Our good friend Caz in Macau. However this was abig step, seeing as if you know us both you'l of noticed we have the best hair in the world! soft lengthy and styled to perfection and mine was occasionaly curly like wooly sheep! (not tooting our own horn or anything but.... Beep Beep) Had to be done seeing as it was just so god damn hot with all of it! Our Time has truly gone racing by as our 3 weeks in thailand has gone already. ... read more

After more travelling from Kraby by a big ass boat! which Nick Jonny and I spralled out on the top Tanning deck taking in the sun sea and views! Once we arrived at Phi Phi we decided to treat our selves seeing as it was that last day we would be with the lees bro's befor they left us to visite their folkes. so we checked into a nice hotel with AIR CON (Bliss in that heat) and also hired a big seed boat to our selves to explore all the islands and walk on the famous Beach where Leo Di Caprio played the role on The beach! 1st of al we took the boat to a cliff jumping spot where we all jumped from a height of 13m. once at the top there was no ... read more

After a drunken final night in Ko Phanghan we jumped on a boat to Suratthani and then a sweaty lil bus to Kraby. Arriving in Kraby, we had to wait around at the bus stop for about an hour sorting out where we were going to stay and what activities we would do 2moro. We all opted for a long boat tour around all the small ilsand beaches and canoeing around the sites! So of to the hotel "which was really nice for very lil money" to get some shut eye. We awoke fairly early and got a bus to the shore line where the tour would begin. First stop was Holiday island with the appropriately named Paradise beach. Here we relaxed underneath some palms and watched the distant horizon get cleary as the day went ... read more

Ko Phangan..... home of the legendary Full Moon Party dating the 1st one back to 1981! Haad Rin beach has over 20,000 people at 1 time on the party! thats some hardcore raving over the years. so being young up for it ravers our selves we thought we'd check it out and see what all the fuss was about...! however, sadly we wont be attending this emense party as our visa will run out by the time the moon is out :( BUT..! we will be attending the Half Moon Party thats held in the middle of the jungle.... After checking into a cheap guest house, we walked around in the baking sun getting our bareings and deciding wheres good to eat and which bars and clubs will be best to go to. Having scoped the ... read more

Ko Tau it is then! This gorjous island is pretty much untouched by tourism and is the smallest of the three islands on the East. It is known for its dive sites and expert dive schools. So natually we all decided to learn how to Scuba dive and gain an Open Water license and see what all the fuss was about! The licence enables us to dive to 18m on our own any where in the world! Its best to do it here seeing as its double the price anywhere else! We went with Scuba Junction, a highly recommended school in the laonley planet. The course was 3 days invovled 5 open water dives and a written examination at the end. All of passed and had an awsum time hanging out with all the instructors! Our ... read more

Next destination on the list was Kanchanaburi - Home of the famous River Kwai railway bridge, the floating markets and tiger temple. But 1st things 1st...Me and Rick took up our personal dare. For some obscene reason we decided to get our hair dreaded hoping to look like Mr Marley! Once that was done we hopped onto the tour bus that would take us around Kanchanaburi where we could show of our new look. However we looked as if we were out of the hardcore rock band KORN, so i was wearing my hat just to get used to it. The world famous floating market is located in Damnoen Saduak, not far from Kanchanburi city itself. It is basically just as you have seen in pictures and television. A mad scramble of long boats in a ... read more

I thinkwe can all agree that the bus down to Chang mai was the most uncumfortable nights sleep we'v ever had! 10 ours on a old bus that had trapped hundreds mozzies inside. BITTEN TO SHIT! but thankfully when the light went to sleep so did they, but allas we did not... about 3 hours into the journey the bus was joulting and making very unhealthy noises and eventualy came to a sudden hault! This meant the aircon was down whichtunred the bus in to a pizza oven! passenger s had to later on push the bus to give it a kick start. SUCCESS! the following morning we had arrived in the Smallest city we have been to yet. But 1st thing 1st... Sleep...! The next day we awoke to a strange lil thai man ... read more
